While collecting information on the wonders of keratin, Martin, Chris and Aviva spot a pangolin. A scaly ant-eater, in its own family, with a unique walking style. Suddenly, the pangolin is approached by lions. As a defense mechanism, the creature rolls into a ball, protecting itself with its tough, keratin-infused scales! These scales grow out of its skin, similar to hair and fingernails.
