When the gang in their boat meets up with Hipster the hippo, they realize they are in Africa.  They're floating right into Hipster's family, who are not happy, but without the hippo sub they are sitting targets.  Martin jumps into the water with the miniaturizer and miniaturizes the boat with the gang, which floats past the family.
