Splash and friends stay to help the one remaining Parrotfish named Dusty save the reef, realizing that if harm can come to this reef, it can happen to any reef - including Reeftown. Warming ocean water can affect undersea life, such as algae, which in turn can affect the health of coral reefs, causing them to become ghost reefs. But with time and attention, ghost reefs can come back to life.
