The kids are given a tour around the volcano by Lu. Volcanoes are present not only on land, but also in both deep and shallow ocean waters! Volcanoes found under the water are called submarine volcanoes and their eruptions can push ash and volcanic gases up through the water and onto the surface. Some submarine volcanic eruptions have been so massive they have been known to produce entire islands.
