For a recent Team Challenge we asked you to design clothing made out of unusual materials. You shared some amazing ideas -- including clothes made from newspapers, LED lights, jewelry, leaves, even candy! Check out some fashions that bring your awesome Team Challenge designs into reality:

Duct Tape Duds
DS Newbie kkbug910 found a fashionable use for one of our favorite materials: duct tape!

This high schooler spent 400 hours making a party dress and tuxedo out of duct tape! Click below to see a video about how she did it.

 

Candy Wrapper Dress
This sweet dress made from recycled candy wrappers is designed by DS Newbie lauralove.

Fashion designer Christina Liedtke created a simliar design out of M&M wrappers.

 

Nightlight Pajamas

These glow-in-the-dark PJs designed by bunny123243 would be really helpful on a dark night.

And they could be in stores soon, thanks to the engineering of silkworms that make glow-in-the-dark silk!
