Mr. Ratburn is handing back some tests. "Good work for the most part, class. Although certain students..." Mr. Ratburn pauses and sniffs the air. "I smell smoke," he says. The fire alarm begins to ring. "Line up quickly, children.""
Mr. Ratburn directs the children out of the classroom and down the hall. "I forgot my journal," gasps Sue Ellen. She starts to go back to the classroom to fetch it.
"Get back in line, Sue Ellen!" says Mr. Ratburn. "Walk quickly; no running."
Binky looks down a hall and sees smoke coming out of the teacher's lounge. He stops and stares. "Come along, Binky!" calls Mr. Ratburn.
