I was kind of bummed that they turned it into a movie. I loved the book, and I thought they should of just kept it like that. I went to see it, and I thought the movie was good, but it didn't capture the same interest I had with the book. I just feel they shouldn't of turned it into a movie. 2 toes

This movie is great for a family outing. I think tiny childern might be scared of the monster, but other than that, no other stuff like that. I saw this movie about a day after it hit the big screen. This movies makes you laugh and cry, but overall, it is worth waiting in line for half an hour to watch. Five toes.

not my favorite movie, but then again, I didn't like the book either. I think the fans of the book will like it.

I don't think this is a kid's movie. I didn't like the movie much, not much happened. Some parts seemed a little too scary for kids to watch, at least in theaters. The actor who plays Max was very talented, but other than that I wasn't so sure.
