our whole class likes diary of a wimpy kid! we like it so much that we are playing the cheese touch! I have diary of a wimpy kid one, Rodrick rules, and Do-It-Yourself books. It is the first book that I have ever laughed out loud on! I want the third one and I can't wait until the fourth one comes out! If you haven't read the series, read them! Awesome books!

This book is great! I just love it. I used to hate reading because the beggings were boring and had a stupid plot, but this one has none. It makes this series my absolute favorite. I also have all 3 books and the do it yourself. P. S. I can't wait for the movie!!

I think that this book would be GREAT for kids 7-10, but definatly NOT over. Sarah is correct, he is selfish and greedy, but that's the exact style right now. I am older than 10, so I give maybe 2 toes. But if you are younger than 10, read this book! This is a great begining to read chapter book and it is what people are calling "funny" so go ahead and read it!

I really really love it. It is so funny. It makes me laugh so much! I have read all three books! My fav part in third book is when Rowley and Greg dug a hole that was 10 feet deep. Later, Rowley's dad was cutting the grass and he fell in the hole.

Uhmmm this a great book I tottallly recomend it. It is fun and entertaining; It will have you reading for hours until you finish it! I had to read for a school project, I'm actually working on the project right now. It's a big 5 pg book report. That's the only thing I personally didn't like. I have to do a book report.

It's okay. Don't like the bullies. My fave moments were: 1. When Greg hides in the bedroom with the phone, his dad walks in, and Greg tries to sneak out, and the phone rings. 2. When Greg tries to play Rodrick's CD and the headphones weren't plugged in. 3. When Rodrick wakes up Greg and tells him summer was over, and Greg finds out later it's three in the morning. 4. Greg's dad throwing the water on him accidentally. 5. Greg's dad playing the classical music to get rid of the teens in the yard. There are probably some I missed, but it was kind of funny in some moments. Hope Greg has good luck with Piper Matthews!;)

I was reading a little of this book at books & company it looks like a really neat book. I like because it's so simple but it's so interesting! I really wanted to finish it I was thinking about buying it too BUT I did'nt have thirteen bucks on me;(. I think if you're thinking about buying this book buy it! The Diary of a Wimpy Kid may seem kind of funny sometimes, but overall it's mostly negative. I mean, c'mon! "Wimpy" isn't supposed to be a funny environment for younger kids. Also, it makes fun of "dorks", and that makes other people feel even worse if they're teased at school that way. Overall, I rate Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1/5 toes; I just don't believe that some of the issues displayed in this story show a great example for children.

I read this book before it got so much publicity as a web comic on funbrain. com! I thought it was really funny and I read the whole thing during my vacation on my uncle's computer. I loved the diary-it was funny, entertaining, and the pictures that accompany the story add to the originality of the series. Interesting concept! I was excited to see it in stores!

Diary Of a wimpy kid is a supereb book I read the whole thing in one day. My favorite part is when Greg is in the Wizard Of Oz play and creams Patty with apples. Also this book can be for anyone and it gives you a pretty good review of what middle school might be like.

I would say that this book is for kids in 4th to 6th grade because this book is very funny but you also have to be old enough to get the joke. I would also recommend this book to any kid that needs a good laugh. I would say that this book is my favorite book besides the Wayne Gretzky biography becasue in this great book you can get a really good laugh and the book is not just lines and lines and more lines without a picture which can kind of make you not want to read the book as much as if you had pictures. It was a FANTASTIC book.
