- Rosalind, age 15 of Long Beach, CA
I really liked this movie a lot! I had read the book, so I was prepared for it to be creepy (which it is; very much so). Though it doesn't follow the book exactly, I think it still kept the spirit of it very nicely.
- Rannveig, age 9 of Ladera Ranch, CA
not my thing because it is a very wierd movie.
- Elizabeth, age 8 of Whittier, CA
It is full of sadness, braveness, and happy times. You will like Coraline.

It was cool.
- Larissa
I think Coraline was a really good movie, with great animation and acting. I don't like how people are calling it too scary, though. Yeah, it is scary in some parts, but it's supposed to be a little scary. If you don't like scary movies, just don't see then! And it does have funny parts, and a happy ending. Probably the best movie I've seen in a while, actually!
- Greg, age 9 of Chicago, IN

- Julianne of Virginia Beach, VA
I thought Coraline was a great movie! The plot was so interesting and cool. Dakota Fanning did a great job voicing the main character! I'm a big fan of her.
- Benjamin, age 15 of Miami, FL
i loved watching this movie it was very creative and intristing with a good story, plot and production. this is an excellent film that is definitely worth watching but a bit dark.
- Chelka of Farmington, NM
I don't like the movie Coraline at all. Come on people, it's suposed to be a kid's movie. This movie made my 12 year old cousin(Tiffany)cry. She never cries. But it scared her sooo bad, imagine how younger kid's reacted. I did a survey with kids at school. They said it was to creepy to be a kid's film.
- Montana, age 10 of Simi Valley, CA
it teaches kids to use their imagination and learn the meaning of thougts.
- Lena, age 15 of San Diego, CA
I love this movie! It wasn't as true to the book as it could be ( they added a lot,) but it was still really good. It is defenitly for older kids, but good none the less. It could get a little creepy, with the button eyes, and rats and stuff, but kids 10 and up will enjoy it. I loved the book and read it 10 times! I know the story pretty well! I can't wait for the DVD
- Nicole, age 15
Coraline was one of the best movies ever!! It is soo amazing! The book is also awesome! Everyone needs to see the movie!
- Faith, age 15 of Albuquerque, NM
I think it's aweful!!! Why would someone make something so scary for kids to watch? Kid's have enough drama and fear in life in the real world. I give it 0 toes. Sorry.
- Madeline, age 11 of Woodway, TX
The movie was really neat and I saw it in 3-D!!! I like how everything was all handmade!
- Alison, age 11 of Dawson, OR
I think Coraline is an awesome creative story. A lot of the plot was different from the book, but it just made the movie a little more interesting. It would be boring if it weren't so creepy! If you aren't into dark and creepy things, then don't see it!
- Emma, age 10 of Bivins, TX
i love it. the doll I sso cool but scary at the same time. if I could watch it for the rest of my life!!! taht is how much I love the movie!!!
- Gabrielle, age 10 of Mauer Town, VA
i think that Coraline is the best kids movie ever!
- Kiernan, age 8 of Austin, TX
i like coraline because it is a mix of scary and alittle bit of funny. it is a verey good picture in 3D. I like the part at the verey bigginning when her stepmom makes the doll.
- Kathy, age 9 of Queens, NY
I liked this movie because it scared me and I like scary movies. In this film, Coraline found a secret door that led her to another world. Anyone who is 9 years of age and up should go check it out.
- Emma, age 7 of Wyoming, IA
I think the movie is way way way way way to scary. The movie is inapriate for little kids. To scary way to scary. I don't like it AT ALL! Not good at all... it's so scary my techer wouldn't watch it.
- Bridget, age 9 of Austin, TX
it was ok, but the Other Mother was just plain creepy.
- Samantha, age 11 of Malden, MA
I LOVE this book!!! I like how it is creepy and scary but, it is also fun. It is crazy between the buttons, the other mother and Coralines boring home life. It shows you that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I LOVE the book and the movie!!!
- Dana, age 12 of Verdigris, OK
I just LOVED Coraline! It was true to the book, and the changes were acceptable. And the 3-D was amazing! My advice: If you can choose between seeing this movie in 2-D or 3-D, choose 3-D You won't just watch the movie, you'll live it.
- Lily, age 9 of Colorado Springs, CO
LOVE IT! Me and my friends Paiton, Adriana, Brook, Xiasia, Hannah, Delaney, and others went to see it for my birthday party in 3-D! Even my 4-year old sister saw it and LOVED it! I have the Coraline book and video game. It is neat! You should ask your family, "Can we all go to see Coraline?" unless you have a baby. Then, hire a baby-sitter.
- Abby, age 11 of Lexington, KY
Coraline was a good movie. It wasn't as good as the book, but it was good. I LOVED the 3-D, and I thought the actors did a really good job. It was funny, and original, though it could be kind of scary for little kids (with the rats and other parents and button eyes and 3-D and things). Still, worth seeing.
- Zerafina, age 12 of Buffalo, NY
OOOoooh. It was creepy. I mean, the weird little eyes. They haunt me still.
