Has anyone ever treated you a certain way because you were different? What did you do?

i just ignored them! i felt bad at first but then i felt better when my friend gave me that advise

My friend has diabeties and she thought that she wasn`t normal so i got one of my other friends to tell her that his mom has diabeties too. so then she was feeling all better.

When I was 5 and I first started kindergarden I didn't know how to speak english. So people treated me different. So my mom helped me learn english and then when I went back to school everyone was shocked that I can speak english.So now that Im older I can speak perfect english.

I told them that not everyone is the same to leave me and my ways alone and I would leave them alone. And they left me alone for the rest of the school year.

Yes. I am a girl, but I like a boy's TV show. Two girls in my girl scout troop started to make fun of me because I had a pair of shoes with the same theme as the TV show. I just told them that I liked the show and they didn't have to if they didn't want to.

at school i found it hard to breath when i was playing soccer, i had asma. my friends found out and started treated me 'special'. but i didnt like it. finally i just told them how i felt and that its not contageas. so they started acting normal to me again and everything has been fine since then.

People treat me different because I'm short for my age at first it really made me feel bad but then I met my best friend Sydnee she's short to she taght me that being short had a lot of advantages!!!!

I was treated a diffrent way beacaus I was born with only one arm!! People often stared at me. I felt mad and embarressed. But then a friend showed me that even if I'm diffrent,I should still be me!!
