Do you have a special collection? What do you collect and why?

I collect glass dolls. I started collecting about a year ago. I collect them because they're pretty to look at.

I collect quarters from every state. So far, I have every one except Wisconsin and Ohio. I colloct Quarters because I will never really be able to travel around the country outside of driving range. I can't because of my sister's severe peanut allergy. Planes aren't safe for her. People can have food on planes, such as peanut butter and Jelly sanwiches, or a bag of plain peanuts. Collecting Quarter's makes me feel like I have been to every state because on each quarter, there is a picture representing the state. Each picture has a story. I love the story about Florida, and how Pounce De Leon founded the state. Reading these stories really fills the empty-ness I get whenever I have the desire to travel. I even bought a folder with slots just to keep my quarters in. Whenever I get a quarter, I quick check it to make sure it is not one I need. That is why I love to collect quarters.
