Directions

Stand in front of the mirror with your child and see how many different games you can play. Cover your eyes, then uncover them. Wave your hands, stomp your feet, turn around. Laugh, smile, open and shut your mouth. Why not let your child tell you what to do?

Dressing up is fun! Find some dress up clothes around the house and play a funny dress-up game with your child! Look in the mirror! Try on a skirt. Try on a funny hat!

If you have several children over one day to play, they might like "Tubby Mirrors." Each child picks a partner and the two face each other. One child is the leader and one child is the mirror. When the leader moves, the mirror does what the leader does. Try this song:

One arm (leaders wave one arm).
Two arms (leaders wave two arms).
One leg (leaders lift one leg).
Two legs (leaders do a little dance).
Nod your head (leaders nod heads).
Go to bed! (Leaders lie down on the floor).

Then let the leaders do whatever they would like to do and have the mirrors follow. Change and give the leaders the chance to be mirrors and the mirrors a chance to be the leaders.
