Directions

Note: Parental supervision is required for this activity

Paint outside with your child on a sunny day. Fill spray bottles with paint and spray on large sheets of paper. Make a big rainbow of different colors!

You can experiment with different ways to put the paint on the paper. Spatter it from a big brush! Dip your hands in paint and make handprints. Cut an apple in half sideways and remove the seeds from the center. Dip it in the paint and then stamp it on paper. See the star inside?

Try drawing or painting a rainbow person! Make him or her of all different colors - arms, hands, feet, legs, face and clothes! Beautiful colors!

Fold a piece of heavy white paper in half (good quality bond or construction paper), and your child can then paint a beautiful design on one half of the paper. When your child is done, carefully fold the paper in half, press gently, then open it up. Look at that! Twice as pretty!
