Run, run as fast as you can! You can't catch me - I'm the gingerbread man!! Tell the story of the gingerbread man as you make gingerbread men cookies with each other. Use a gingerbread cookie recipe from a favorite cookbook. For an easier idea, buy ready-made cookie dough in the refrigerator section of the grocery store. Roll it out and use a gingerbread man cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. Bake as directed. When the cookies are cool, use prepared frosting to decorate the cookies. Use raisins or other small candies for eyes, mouth and nose.

Play Ready Set Go! outside. Stand together and then call out, Ready, Set, Walk! Walk around in a circle. After a little bit, call out "Ready, Set, Run!" and run around in a circle. Call out "Ready, Set, March!" Try other ways to move - trotting, hopping, jumping. For even more fun, you can use a bright colored scarf or crepe paper streamer to hold while you run, march, or walk. How pretty it looks when it flutters out behind you!
