Directions

Note: Parental supervision is required for this activity

Go outside with your child and a good-sized ball. You can show your child how to roll the ball and help him or her kick and toss the ball. Get a large basket or other suitable container and practice tossing the ball into the basket! Stand close to one another and gently toss the ball back and forth.

Make a fun and silly bowling game by filling 10 clean soda liter bottles half full of water. Color the water with food coloring. Set them up like bowling pins and show your child how to roll the ball at them and knock them down. If they are too heavy for your child to knock over, empty out some or all of the water.
