If it is a clear day, have a look at cloud shapes with your child. What kinds of clouds do you see? White and fluffy? Or gray? Big? Small? Go back inside and take out sheets of blue construction paper, glue and cotton balls. Pour some glue in a dish and add a little water to thin it. Dip the cotton balls in the glue and stick them to the paper. What a lovely soft, fluffy cloud picture.

Another way to make a cloud picture is to cut a kitchen sponge into a round shape and dip it into white paint. Paint on blue construction paper.

Make several different clouds - some big and some little. Cut them out. Punch small holes in the tops and tie string or yarn to them. Hang your clouds from a lampshade or tape them to the ceiling of a room in your house. Or find a wire coat hanger and hang them from that for a cloud mobile.
