Directions

Note: Parental supervision is required for this activity
You can stuff brown paper grocery bags full of old newspapers and tape them shut. Stack them up high. Then knock them all down! You could also build a wall or make a house to play in! (from Big Book of Fun by Carolyn Buhai Haas. Copyright 1987 by Carolyn Buhai Haas. Reprinted by permission of Chicago Review Press, Inc.).

Find other things around the house that would make fun play blocks; milk cartons, shoe boxes, cereal boxes, and oatmeal containers are some ideas.

Make funny cars and houses out of big boxes. Decorate them with crayons and glue and tissue paper, anything to make them pretty. Use paper plates for wheels and for a steering wheel!
