This Memorial Day, celebrate heroes with SUPER WHY! - Hurray for Heroes! This special 2-hour TV marathon features two new episodes and two returning favorite episodes. It also features never-before-seen live-action interviews in-between the episodes in which real kids share their thoughts about what it means to be a hero.

GEORGE AND THE DRAGON (NEW!)
FE FI FO FUM! The Giant has stepped on Pig's toy, and he's scared to ask for it back. The super readers fly into a classic tale to meet fearless Knight George, who is about to face his own fears and battle a dragon to rescue a princess. But it turns out that George isn't quite so brave, and needs a little help...from an unexpected source!
Educational Objectives: To learn to appreciate where you're from. Kids will experiment with the alphabet, celebrate spelling and use the power to read to change the story.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
Wolfy won't stop tricking Pig, and Pig is at his wit's end. The Super Readers travel "over the river and through the woods" into the story of Little Red Riding Hood to find out what the wolf has up his sleeve next. It turns out that the trick to getting him to stop tricking is really quite simple.
Educational Objectives: This episode teaches kids about advocating for themselves. They also learn to recognize the alphabet, play spelling games, and use the power of reading to change the story.

THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON (NEW!)
Little Boy Blue is stuck on a little island in Storybrook Pond and can't get back to shore. Super Why and his friends head into the story of The Swiss Family Robinson to meet a family who is just as stranded as Little Boy Blue. They'll need to use what's around them to survive in this do-it-yourself island adventure!
Educational Objectives:To learn to think creatively in tricky situations. Preschoolers will catch the alphabet using Alpha Pig's Alphabet Net, rhyme with ING words, and use the power to read to change the story.

RAPUNZEL
Princess Pea's kitten gets stuck in a tree. The Super Readers fly into the story of Rapunzel who is also stranded high above the ground. When climbing Rapunzel's hair proves to be a knotty idea, the Prince and the Super Readers come up with a tamer rescue plan and Princess Pea discovers the value of a helping hand.
Educational Objectives: This episode teaches kids that they can accomplish a lot more with a little help from their friends. They also uncover the alphabet, practice spelling, and use the power of reading to change the story.
