Helping children cope with difficult times It's never easy to know what to say to and do for children in uncertain times like these. Sesame Workshop produced nine PSAs to help parents think about strategies that might help their children cope with stress and fear. Eight of the PSAs are directed specifically for parents, and one is directed to children. Elmo, Maria, and Gordon provide helpful tips that apply to children of all ages and that can be used to support families through many types of stressful situations. Watch for these spots on your local PBS station. Below are two of the videos for parents.
