Your child can be author and illustrator of a book about your family.

Materials:

• Family photographs (optional)
• Paper
• Crayons or markers
• Stapler

Directions:

Help your child make a book about your family by pasting photographs or drawing portraits. Your child may want to use a separate page for each person or make family cluster pictures, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Your child may want to write or dictate things like:

• What they call that person
• How that person is related to them
• What they like to do with that person

Staple the pages together for a book that's about "My Family and Me"
