Screen Size

Most screen resolutions are set to either 1024x768. On a lower resolution, the graphics and text will appear larger but you will see less at one time without scrolling. On a 1024x768 screen, you should be able to see most of the main content without scrolling.

To set your screen to your preference, follow these steps.

For a PC:

Select Display Properties (or just Display) from your Control Panel. Choose the Settings tab and adjust the screen resolution.

For a Mac:

Select Monitors and Sound from your Control Panel or Displays from System Preferences. You should have the option to choose a screen resolution.

Printing

Coloring Pages may print out larger on a Mac or smaller on a PC. To adjust the size of your image, change your printer settings (On most computers, you can do this by going to File, Print, selecting Properties and choosing the Enlarge/Reduce or Scaling options).

There are a number of pages where you will find a picture of the printer. Click on it to print wherever it is available. The Song pages, the Recipes and the Build a Neighborhood game will not print out properly unless you click on the icon to print.

Videos

The videos should all start playing automatically. If you want to pause the video for a while, click on the circle player button with the straight lines. To start the video again, just click on the triangle.
To stop the video and return to the game, click on the X in the circle in the upper right corner of the video player.

Sound

Be sure your speakers are turned on in order to hear the sound throughout the site. For the "Who Gets the Flowers" online story book you will need Real Player. You can get it for free by clicking here.
