Kids love to learn. And with your help, they'll learn to love reading.

It's amazing how quickly children can learn to read — they go from picture books to chapter books in a few short years. Children develop new reading skills each year, and they can learn even more with your guidance. From reading aloud together to playing games, you're an important part of the learning process.

PBS KIDS Raising Readers helps children ages 2-8 learn to read with literacy programs like SUPER WHY, WordWorld, Between the Lions, and Sesame Street, plus all the online games, activities, and tips you'll find here. Teachers, check out our lesson plans and curriculum that make reading fun.
