Miguel answers your questions
Q: MIGUEL HAVE YOU EVER WISHED THAT YOU HAD A TWIN BROTHER OR A LITTLE BROTHER INSTEAD OF A TWIN SISTER? — Alyssa, 5, Hawaii

Miguel: Dear Alyssa, Sure, sometimes I wish that I had a brother — especially when Maya gets me mixed up in one of her crazy plans! But then I realize that there are some pretty great things about having Maya as my sister and I take my wish back. (Usually.)

Q: Hey Miguel! If you were deserted on an island and you could choose 2 people to be stranded with you who would it be? (besides me) :D — Hannah, 10, Arizona

Miguel: Dear Hannah, Hmmm, that’s a tough question! I think I’d choose Theo and Andy — my best buddies. We always have fun hanging out together, so maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to be deserted with them!

Q: Hi Miguel, I played soccer this spring and we lost every game we played. What can we do to get better at it? — Kara, 9, Nebraska

Miguel: Dear Kara, Just keep practicing! Our team used to lose all the time too, but we did lots of drills and practice games, and we slowly got better and better. Stick with it, and I’m sure you’ll win a game or two soon!

Q: Do you have a crush on somebody? — Sabrina, 9, California

Miguel: Dear Sabrina, No, I don’t have a crush on anybody! What have you heard?!?

Q: Has there ever been a time when you felt like you were not going to win and you wanted to quit so you would not to embarass yourself? — Asheika, 12, Ohio

Miguel:
Hi, Asheika.  Sure, there have been plenty of times when I felt like I wasn’t going to win.  Actually, in a soccer game just last week, it was almost time to go home and our team hasn’t scored a single goal.  I kind of felt like I wanted to quit, but then I remembered what my parents always tell Maya and me about how important it is to try your best and not give up.  (By the way, we didn’t win the game, but I did help our team score one cool goal at the last minute!)

Q: What do you want to do when you become an adult? — Jorge, 9, Mexico

Miguel:
When I grow up, I’d really like to be a professional soccer player.  Or maybe a drummer in a band.  I guess I’d also like to be a doctor.  Then again, being a teacher would be really cool.  Or maybe a scientist, or a police officer, or an artist… (Can you tell that I haven’t made up my mind yet?!?!)
