Maggie answers your questions
Q: Maggie what language do you talk in at home? I talk in Chinese at home. — Susan, 8, California

Maggie: Sometimes we speak in Chinese at home (Mandarin, to be exact). Usually, that’s when my grandmother is visiting. Mostly though, my parents, sister and I speak English around the house.

Q: Do you have a silk dress from China? — Renee, 6, Canada

Maggie: Hi, Renee! I have a beauuuuutiful purple silk dress that my grandmother brought back for me after her last visit to China. (She gave me a matching little purse too!) I wore it to my dad’s birthday party last week, and everyone loved it!
