Hello dear IML'ers! Hope everyone's having a good summer. We have some sad news today. :-( Due to a shift in focus away from tweens, PBS funding for It's My Life updates has been discontinued until further notice. This includes moderating the You Said It pages. It's devastating to us at IML because we love what we do. We fought hard to keep these pages available to you guys who rely on them and make them so great, and haven't given up yet. We're still out there, looking for more funding. In the meantime, no new YSI posts will be approved, unfortunately. We hope that changes soon. Keep your fingers crossed for us and stay in touch! Any questions, email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to answer.
The biggest difference between elementary school and middle school is that elementary school is all happy sing song and learning easily and kids are either nice or mean. But middle school is filled with kids going through puberty, and different moods. Then a new word would come up called "frenemies."
I think middle school is going to be great!(hopefully?)
Going to 7th grade....new school....same people!
-stellakitty- You sound just like i sounded starting MS now I am starting HS. I am going to give it to you straight.Middle School is different than elementary school.Everyone is scared at first.People change. You may find your friends drifting away from you.People date. The whole thing is different. But you do great. Never be afraid to ask for help.Never give your locker combo out.Good Luck!
Hey everyone.... going to middle school next year Can I have some tips???? THANKS!
you go from being a big 5th grade dog to a small 6th grade puppy
Middle school is a step up and a steP down. I had a teacher for half of my elementary life! (3/6) he was the best. The thing is, moving up a grade from your fave teacher in the same school isn't as bad. You can see them in the halls or library or something. Moving schools changes it. But my middle school has a way better library! There is even security beeper things so you don't take a book! :)
This year I am going to be in 6th grade and I am nervous and exicited!! I auditioned for the first drama class. I got in!! I am super excited!
my friends and i formed a "drama free" group. it has worked pretty well and no one has gotten in a fight. i dont know if that would work out well for anyone but its worth a try :-)
I am just going to 6th grade i have the same school
Well, your no longer treated like your the star at school. Your skills are more advanced. Really, there is no MAIN difference.
In middle school there are talet shows I would like to do it but I have stage fright what shoud I do.

I have three days of elementary school left. Graduation is in two days. At least I have a chance of getting a nice math teacher next year....
Just gotta get used to the new life.Like getting used to Elementary, but harder.

The biggest difference-A BIGGER DIFFERENCE IN LIFE!!!
Middle school is finally over for me! I wasn't a fan of middle school because everyone has raging hormones and a lot of people cuss.
