I live in australia and we start high school in year 7 (1st year) which it was in 2007, i was so nervous that i wouldn't eat nd i lost 5 kilos over the summer, i was really skinny, im in year 9 (3rd yr) and i love it but sometimes its a dag but its fun.

I am starting high school this year. I skipped many grades over the years and the school thinks i am ready for high school. I can't wait! I hear they serve chicken. Fried Chicken! We don't get Fried Chicken in the middle school.... I am so excited!

I was really nervous at starting at a new school, but it was fine! The people there are super nice and in high school most people (at least the nicer ones) don't care what age you are.

High school is really not that bad. Like it takes a little getting use too but its nothing to get too worked up over. I was pretty nervous the first day, but nobody really makes fun of you or anything. Its a lot like Junior High/Middle School.

2 school years to go :D These high schools (newer ones) are cool! Cannot wait, though to try the Mystery Meat for the first time :D Now for an embarrassing thing I have to say. I had to repeat Kindergarten because I wasn't ready for Grade 1 :O -embarrassed-

Hiya I have more 2 say. There is a dif between Freshmen and 9th graders so says a Senior I know. Freshmen are the drama starting punks that try 2 stir up trouble. 9th graders are chill kids that go on with their lives with out starting drama. so be a 9th grader not a freshman

People think high school is big, bad, and scary. It's really not. I started my first year, 9th grade, and I was afraid of the upper classmen and getting lost. Come to find out, the upper classmen helped me get to my classes, and the guidance counselor gave me a school map.

Hey No one wants to leave 8th grade and go to the Big High School but hey we all have to Im in 7th so i feel kind of lucky. But once i hit 8th grade and it reachs the end of the year i'll be like i dont ever wanna leave my friends but the High School is a huge expreance! love it breath it see it!

Hey Jocelyn. Sorry but most girls in highschool are snobby and stuck coz they think they know more than Freshmen but don't worry about it kay? 9th grade girls are just as nervouse as you! but 11th and 10th plus 12th grade girls like to make your highschool years horrible! im not there yet im only in 7th but thats all i know (Movies) sometimes there right.

Not really, I've gotton used 2 it by now ( going from pre-school-8th grade )is enough time to get used to new & diffrent situations. Luckily the school I was going too, I had friends there( at the same school) so it was cool.
