"Yes, I went to camp this year. (2008) It was youth camp in Wyoming, and we had the ranch all to ourselves. It was my first year, but some people went last year. I knew everyone except a few people. It was awesome! The best part was whitewater rafting and the cooks made the best food! They have their own cookbook. The worst part was the 30-hour bus ride, but it did have a restroom (no flush) and we made stops too. The chairs go back so the sleep on the bus wasn't that bad."

Me and my friend Sarah went to this drama camp and we meet these two really cute guys (they both looked just like Joe and Nick Jonas a.k.a the young Jonas brothers) ok so we like hang out with this guys like all the time Nate (that's the name of the one that looks like Joe Jonas) like looked at me with this weird eyes like he was totally in love with me. So one day I pulled Nate away from Sarah and Jim (the guy that looked like Nick Jonas). I like asked him why do you look at me like that all the time and he said Ôcuz I think your the most great looking girl I've ever seen. I said thanks. I was like blushing Ôcuz I really liked him to (Ôcuz I'm like in love with Joe Jonas he is so hhhooottt. I have posters of him ever were in my room) so later on the camp had this great dance and he asked me to go so I said yes. So we were at the dance dancing and he just pulls me out the door and runs down the road with my hand in his. So his like pulling me along tin he stops right in front of the lake so we sit down and he said would you mined if I kiss you. And I said I would be mad if you didn't. So were just sitting there kiss for like two hours and then we stop and he said would you like to be my girlfriend and I said YES so now we are dating and his kissed me like 10000000000000 times so Nate I love you."

"I went to camp this year and it went very badly. I kept having really bad nosebleeds and one lasted a whole half and hour! One time I had one in the pool and there was a mom whose daughter had them last Christmas so she helped pinch my nose. Oh gosh it hurt! She was like overly obsessed with doing it. And blood got in the pool so everyone went to the beach except me. And I got a laugh out of it too. Some boys in my group didn't see what happened and I told them and made them thank me because the beach is the best place to swim. Ha ha ha! But otherwise the nosebleeds, I had A LOT if fun at camp. "Yes, I'm going to Camp Middlesex again in 3 weeks. I can't wait. For people new to camp, I'd recommend a co-ed camp because you get more comfortable hanging around boys and being friends with them. There's not a lot of pressure on clothes because mostly everyone's just friends. I had a crush on one of my guy friends there but it wasn't that much pressure because we were friends. The dances are a lot of fun because your guy friends will ask you to dance just to goof around. And your girl friends are just so much fun to talk to. Haha we were allowed to have iPods at my camp and my friend Cam started jamming to "Don't Cha" with my best friend. It was so funny."

"(2008) I went last October 2007 as a class trip for 3 days. The place is called Manice Education Center. It was GREAT it was so fun! We ate the BEST food (like pancakes, cinnamon buns, cereal, bagels, cereal, and hot chocolate for breakfast) and we went canoeing! It's really hard to go canoeing. You have to use LOTS of strength to do it right. Everyone's real nice, and we got to go to a campfire our last night eat s'mores, and made skits for the campfire day. I'm going to the summer program on July 7-July 25 and my friend told me that you have to take a swimming test and if you don't pass, you get another chance but while you wait for the second swimming test, you have to wear a life jacket. (Good thing I know how to swim) You go swimming twice a day, EVERYDAY! And they teach you how to survive if your canoe tips over! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! My friend wants to go since she had LOTS of fun too on the trip, and because she saw a "Cute guy" at the reunion thing and she want to meet him...Whatever. I'm only going to HAVE FUN! People, give sleepaway camps a chance!"

"It really depends on what camp you go to, that determines whether your summer will be fun or not. I recommend choosing a single gender camp, as then the girls are not as competitive and it really takes the stress off of clothing and you will probably feel freer. That being said, I went to camp for 8 weeks and I couldn't say enough positive things about it. We had four camp dances with a boy's camp, and all the girls in my cabin stayed with me for all eight weeks, and they are now some of my best friends. The counselors range in age, but they are all really skilled at their jobs and I really felt I could go talk to mine about anything. Anyway, don't base your decision to go on the horror stories you here, really research the camp your going too, (if they give you reference numbers-CALL THEM! They will tell you things you can't find out on the website! ) If you are nervous about anything, never be afraid to call the camp, and definitely keep an open mind before going!"

"I went to camp for 8 weeks this summer and I had the time of my life. My camp has no schedule but does have achievements, girls return there year after year because it is such a great camp. It's a horse riding camp, which is why I went two years ago, but this summer I only rode for the first four weeks, and the rest of the time I focused on acting. The theatre program is amazing and I got to do a lot of behind the scenes and stagecraft work as well. This camp really teaches you responsibility as they do have lights out but the older girls (going into freshman year and sophomore year) can leave their Christmas lights on as late as they want (as long as it's not disturbing anyone). The minimum time you can attend camp is four weeks and it truly is helpful as you really bond with your bunks mates. There are no counselors living in your cabins (they're nearby) and they visit at night and your Junior Counselor at rest hour comes to visit you. The camp is full of traditions all of which we love and next year I'm going back to be a junior counselor and can't wait! Also they arrange cabins by the grade you're going into, not your age!"

’ÄúI went to summer camp but I did not like it very much the first two weeks. I arrived at the day camp a week later than most kids because my school let out a week later. I arrived and this guy whom I am enemies with from Hebrew school is in my group. Yay...NOT! Then the other girls were at first nice to me, but then they started to ignore me. Hey were also all the same besides me. We then played capture the flag and I was trying to figure out where I fit in. Then I met these girls who were nice to me. I also met this other girl. I was still unhappy because I wanted to be in the same group as one of my friends who was there. My unhappiness continued. Then I went for the second week (I had signed up for three weeks total.) The girls who I liked had a new friend who didn’Äôt seem to like me. Then later she started to like me. But she kept ignoring me. I told my parents so the next week my parents switched my group and I was with people I liked and I did more art projects. I even had lots of friends!! If I go to this camp next year, I will try to get in a group with people I like...’Äù

Well there is a small lake there, and yeah. But it had leeches in it, so not so good. Ok, the rules are simple. You can ram into one another on the small lake, but nothing else. So, we just got done ramming in the hardest group ever, and then Alonzo and Jermie rammed into us and the canoe tipped over! And the canoe tipped over on me! It was so scary, bcause I was sinking, but then I felt someone tugging me upward, and I was dragged into my friends Janessa, Milssa and Tresas canoe. And then I had a swollen ankle, but other than that nothing much. And I didnt even get a leech on me. It was fun though, looking back on it now, but totally horrible!

We got assigned our very own horse for that camp and learned even more about dressage, show jumping, and cross country. Not a regular camp, but I went to a youth camp. They held it @ Mars Hill College in Ashville NC & this year was special 'cause my Mama & Daddy (finally) let me go BY MYSELF"! We stayed from June 18th (I know, I left 4 camp on my birthday) 'till June 22nd. WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

I go to camp every year and it rocks! Last year when I went I...I got caught making out with a boy and got suspended from the pool. But it was worth it: ). Yes, and I hated it! I didn't know anyone (except one kid), the staff ignored us sometimes, and they don't care if somebody's mean to me! They didn't give me a newsletter, and when I told them that, they said, You got one, you probably just forgot. Also there was no air conditioning downstairs, and upstairs, the staff sat in front of the fan! We were SOOOOOO hot! Some kids were bored. I AM GLAD IT'S OVER!

Actually its quite a coincidence that I found this today, because in a few days I leave for camp. It will be my first year at this particular camp, but I went to a different camp 3 years in a row. I especially loved an acting program I did. We had a huge Drama house" which was this old wooden house with a big stage and lots of benches for sitting on. We also had lots of costumes in our backstage area. We got to play lots of drama games like freeze and bus stop, and we even organized our camp talent show. My favorite part was when we wrote and preformed our play, Fairy Tale Court. Camp has so many great opportunities. I cant wait to go back!

Im in a camp, and it's not fun. You play video games that don't work half the time, the counselors yell a lot, and sometimes they act as if it's an all boys' camp by making us do stuff like football. Also, all the fun stuff keeps getting cancelled, postponed, or ruined. The only part I like is the pool. Nobody bosses you around. Im never going there again once it ends.

I go to a camp in New Jersey and I dont have any friends there, which is boring. I dont like it there because I dont have fun and I just sit there all alone with two teachers. I went to a 'Broadway' (musical ) theater day camp for the first time (I went to the improv camp last year ) where we made our own musical!! It was so much fun- the counselors gave us our songs, and we made up the rest! Even though there were only 10 kids, I became friends with pretty much everybody! After 5 days, our musical was ready, and we performed it in the theater in front of our parents. It was so much fun, and I hope to go to that camp next year, too!

I did and I loved it!!!!!!!! I actually got to go on a kayak and I met somebody. He was soo nice to me and I used to get mad when he started messing with other girls and he told me he wasn't doing anything and I always hung with him until the counselors thought we were doing other things. We had a meeting and they thought since we were older and more mature we knew right from wrong. All the time at camp we separated from each other and things felt awkward for people to know about us. During ampfires we'd sit together and he'd make me a S'more. When we had like these camp games or treasure hunts we'd be tied and it would me against him and we'd tie and have a tiebreaker. On the last day we promised to see each other next year and we have been.

Yes. I am going to summer camp. But it's not all that great. Sometimes the staff acts as if this is an all boys camp and make us do stuff like football. But there are actually GIRLS there too. My sibs and I go to summer camp every summer at Camp Highlander. My big sis Daniela will be a counselor and this summer my twin Caitlin and I are gonna be junior counselors. Subha, a lot of different things happen at camp - but what happens in the jungle stays in the jungle! For instance, last summer, the most popular gal in camp invited me to sit with her and her friends at Movie Night, lol. In the middle of the movie, (it was Cars, BTW) the gal whispered to me to follow her and her buds outside. They were smoking cigarettes outside the cabin! I ran back into the movie cabin and got a counselor - the gal and her friends were kicked out of camp. Don't worry though, that stuff hardly EVER happens!!!

Yes. I met a really cute boy who I liked and he liked me and we were so happy that we both liked each other. But then something bad happened. A new girl joined up and started flirting with him! I got so mad!! But one day when she flirted really hard with him he got water duty and so did she! She came back to our cabin all I KISSED DEREK! I got so mad but the next day was my turn for water duty and when he found out he switched his days for water duty to my days! So when it was like night I asked him if it was true about the kiss and he went all quiet and then he was like Yeah it's true I kissed Amy but I only did it because she said she liked me and she also said you hated me so I got all sad and she hugged me and then she kissed me" and then I was like Amy's always mean to me. Duh! I LIKE you not hate you. And then me and him kissed. Then next day Amy sat next to him at breakfast (fruits and veggies) and grabbed Derek and kissed him! I went over to him with my 2 best friends Hayley and Megan. Of course I was in tears but he pushed Amy away and he was like Hey ladies come and sit at my lunch table. So we sat down and me and me and Derek spent breakfast feeding each other and then Megan was like Oooooo! and Hayley was like Well Meg, looks like Becca has found her future boyfriend." And then I said Future? I don't think so" and then we all laughed but then Amy came back and was like DEREK! UGH! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SWICHED YOUR WATER DUTY DAY TO WORK WITH...WITH...HER! And she was pointing at me and I was like Amy calm down and back off Derek's my boyfriend And Amy was like I WILL SEE YOU AND DEREK AT CAMP NEXT YEAR BUT I WON'T SEE YOU TOGETHER! Bye Derek hunny," and we all laughed.

I go to a adventure amp and it's really fun! Too bad it ended after 3 days. The activity is so exciting. I remembered that I was fooled by a marshmallow. You see, I was roasting the marshmallow. I only roast it for one minute. The Marshmallow look likes it's still not melted. But just when I was going to eat that marshmallow, it dropped in the fire. It was half Christian and half adventure camp. I have no problem on making friends and activities. And I hope I can go to that camp next summer!

It wasn't really summer camp but it was a camp that happened during the summer in the apartment complex. My friends, Aang, Kati, and Danni decided to pack our bags and walk around the whole complex. I liked it when we got to pack up our stuff. I had made a list and told everybody to put these things in our backpacks: A snack, a journal to write about this, some candy (I brought the coffee suckers), a cap, some tennis shoes, a flashlight (we were going to stay out until 9:00), and a stuffed animal for protection. When we got outside, the sky had already turned red. First, we wrote in our journals about what we saw. Second, we ate our candy (Danni let me eat the rest of his King size Snicker Bar and Aang let me have the rest of his twizzlers). Third, we walked over to the pool and stared at it. Turns out that Aang pushed me into the pool and everybody jumped in. Last, everybody dried off from their blankets and sat in the grass. We told scary stories while eating our snack. It was 8:30 and it was pretty dark. We said good-bye and ran home. IT WAS AWESWOME!!

Think about what happened, it probably wasn't all that bad, and you won't think that in a few years when you think back on it. I've been going to sleep away camp since I was nine. Trust me, it's REALLY fun except the one I went to used minimal electricity and there was often no hot shower water, and there was no heat or air conditioning in the cabins.

YESSS!! ! I have been to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp this year and last year. It is the best camp on the planet! My best friends were Willa, Destiny (or Dee) , and Chelsea. When I was there, Chelsea and I also made friends with some boys from another tent. Their names were Alex, Greg, and Albert. They weren't mean or cocky or anything; they were just normal kids. Also, a girl in my tent named Quin got a huge care package full of candy and at our Taps Talks we would eat it and sometimes we'd get off the suject of what we were trying to talk about. Taps Talks were done right before they play Taps (obviously). One night we had a friend in the tent tie a piece of yarn around our wrist to signify friendship. It was special because we had tossed it to a person and gave them a compliment. A girl named Kyia said I was really funny because I initiated a lot of jokes. The piece of yarn is still on my wrist and I don't plan on cutting it off any time soon. Plus, my counselors were AWESOME!! ! They were Jess, Nelle, and Hannah. Im definitely going to PLYC next year!! !! !! !! !! ! ".

My summer camp experience was fun. At first I was scared of going because I thought I would miss my parents too much. The best way to get rid of that fear is by talking to someone like your parents, counselors, or even friends. I went to a 2-week sleep away camp. The best thing to do is make a friend as soon as you get there so you can talk to them about your fear. I met a girl the very first day and even though she left me I still met new friends. The food was ok. The first day I felt awful. I missed my parents when they left and I talked to my friend that came with me about it. She said that she felt the same way. Anyways later we talked to our counselor and set up a date after the first week so that we could call home. After like 2 days camp got better and I told my mom and dad I was doing Great! So if you are scared just think about how much fun you will be missing and how many friends you will meet. I hope my advice works and my camp experience was great because everyone was so nice!

OK so Mom made me go to summer camp and it was horrible! The other kids had been there before and all knew each other. The first night they stuck my hand in warm water and I peed all over my bed. Then my counselor made me go talk to the camp director and I had to wear Pull-ups for the rest of the time I was there. I never wet the bed again. I didnt have another accident the rest of the time so my counselor didnt make me wear Pull-ups any more. I stayed for another 2 months and I made friends with the rest of the girls. They told me that they were sorry. One week later the camp had their cook out we all drank so much pop (like 5 cans right before bed) that every one in the cabin wet their beds except me (I peed before I went to bed and then I woke up 4 times in the night to pee, I was really tired the next day but it funny any way). So it wasnt so bad after all.

It was the best! My camp does trips for certain divisions. So my division went on two overnights, which were, the Ten Mile River (A hike, but we didn't hike the river itself. But we still hiked about ten miles. ), and the Delaware river (you go in canoes. ). They were really great trips. We went to a ropes course called Ring Homestead, and bowling at Holiday Lanes, about an hour from camp. The worst thing about camp in the Catskills, is that, its FREEZING in the morning and at night, and that it rains, A LOT!!!! We only had one weekend out of four when it didn't rain! But everything is a half an hour later, including wake up, so we get up at 8:00 on rain days. Camp was the best experience! Im saying this as if it were my first year, but its my third, and for the first time in all my three years in camp, my two best friends were in my bunk!

I went to from 1st grade-6th grade for gymnastics camp. The W sisters Taylor and Mora came, Shannon C, Beyonca D, Sarah, Margo and Katrina R, The L twins Kirsten and Donna, Coach Jenna C, Megan F, Nickie S, Cassie V, Lou P, Ava G, Merissa and Melissa (Coach Jenna's daughter or Jen Sr. ) It was Soooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun! And there was a Coach Kiera who taught me a cartwheel in July of 1995. I was the oldest of 22 others. The year of 1995 was SO magical. In 1999, I learned a roundoff and a handspring. I broke my wrist a year after(2/12/2000). I learned a backflip/frontflip and a split in 1993. Gymnastics camp ROCKED! Not only is it All Girls, my friends were here. And all 4 coaches!(I didn't mention Chrissy and Dana. ) The coaches wre Jenna, Kiera, Chrissy and Dana. Camp ruled!

The coaches were SO cheating but oh well. All week was very hot. We swam in the creek or the pool. I tripped over this HUGE rock at night. I hurt my elbow but I was ok. It was really fun.

I went to Camp Timber-lee in Wisconsin, and it was awesome!!! I went swimming in a lake, I went HORSEBACK RIDING, I climbed a 40 foot-tall climbing tower, I went to cool craft shops...And best of all, I learned more about God, and I became closer to Him! I shared a cabin with 7 other girls, and OH MY...It is REALLY interesting to see how 8 girls, all with different personalities, get along together in a cabin for a whole week. Over the week we all became really good friends, and our counselor was really nice. I wish everyone could have as awesome of an experience as I did!

I went to girls camp...First it was fun and then I hated it. We slept in big tents...8 people to a tent. We were cramped and it was freezing. And it smelled REALLY bad where we were. Everybody was getting sick from the heat and from the food...Which it took you ONE HOUR (no joke) standing in the Arizona heat just to get you food that is going to make you sick! All the camp was a weeds everywhere and every time you stepped locus and grasshoppers would scatter everywhere and crawl all over your shoes. After the third day we just all wanted to go home. We were tired, dirty, smelly, blistered and bruised and hungry. I do not like girls camp and never want to go back.

This summer, I went to church camp at Highland Lakes at Lake Travis. It was so fun. We had BMX bikes, riflery, archery, bible study, and good food. The camp counselors were really nice and so were all the other people from different churches. They even have waterfront were you go to the lake and do stuff like the blob, the iceberg, the aqua jump, and banana boats. The food was great there. Every morning, we had pancakes or waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and bacon. We had barbeque the first night for dinner, and the other lunch and dinner menus varied. I can not wait to go back next year.

I go 2 Horse camp every year for a week. This year I met a boy. I found this hat and didn't know it belonged 2 a person so I was bored during the square dance so I sat down in the shade and was tossing the hat around and when I threw it really high it landed in a llama pen and the llama began chewing on it. Now that was the hat the llama was eating so I said Uh...A llama ate it" And hes like Yea right" Then he saw the llama chewing on his hat and said HEY!" And jumped over the fence and I jumped w/ him and began pulling on the hat well an adviser saw us and sent us 2 a time out area. Well I found out the guys name was Kevin and he was 12 like me. I asked him y he asked me if I saw his hat. He said b cuz I thought u were pretty. I laughed and now we r gr8 bffs but I only c him at camp.

I went to a gymnastics camp the best! I went with my friend we learned how to do the bars, beam, vault, and floor, and on the last day we did a routine for our parents. Our teachers were super nice, and helpful. Then everyday we got to play a game, like chicken in a hen house, gladiators, and shark attack, chicken in a hen house was my favorite and I won, twice! I made some new friends too. I learned how to pull myself on the bar, get the high one, do front hip rolls, and back. I learned to get on the beam properly go backwards without looking back, do a cartwhel off the end, a handstand in the middle, and kicks, and turns. On the vault I learned to get on it, put my legs through and do a straddle. On the floor I learned back handsprings, aerials, and jumps. I loved it soo much and I cant wait to go back next year!

I went to a Girl Scout camp called Camp Natarswi which stands for nature, arts, and swimming. I LOVED IT!!!!! The food was good and one of my favorite hobbies is rock climbing and I had made myself confident about climbing and I was so happy that I made it to the top. The good news is that I earned my Paddle, Poll, and Roll badge without being a girl scout in my program Kayak Kids. I had so much fun!:).

I've been at summer camp for the past two days, and I love it! At this camp, we're placed in a band with other kids and we get to play (and eventually record) music! It's serious business, but it's been so much fun! Im vocals for my band, and although I don't sound too great (6 hours of singing at a time completely wears out your vocal cords!), it's awesome! I've made a few good friends, too. They're all boys, most of them older than me, but that doesn't mean anything in the world of music...They're great musicians! It's actually very surprising how much you can accomplish at summer camp if you put your mind to it. I started out nervous about going, but soon enough I loved it! It's alright to be a little bit afraid of what to expect, but just know that you'll have a good time despite any setbacks.

I love summer camp! I go to this academic camp where you can choose four courses you want to do, such as writing and philosophy, both of which I did. I made a bunch of friends. The food is really good. Plus, after dinner, when classes are over, sometimes they show movies, or you can swim in the pool. They did a talent show on the last night. I love it! I only wish it were longer than a week. But I've gone for the equivalent of a month, since I just finished my fourth year there. You can go from ages nine to fourteen, so I only have two more years there. :( But when you're fifteen and sixteen you can be an assistant counselor, and then a counselor after that.

It wasn't this year but last year I went to a G. R. E. A. T. (gang resistant education and training)camp and it was really fun. The officer of my school chose several other kids in the same grade to come along. There were police officers who came to talk about stuff like gangs and how to avoid them. Then we'd go to the gym and play games like hockey, dodge all and other fun games like that. Then we'd go into the police vans and go to places and food and getting there was completely free for the kids who were going. We went to places like the skating rink, bowling, the movies, the reunion tower, on the DART trains and buses, to a real jail, Peter Pipers Pizza, Celebration Station, Hawaiian Falls, A wax museum, and so many other things. It was so much fun because I met new people from different schools. If I could I would go back in time and repeat those 2 weeks!!! G. R. E. A. T. Summer Camp was GREAT(that's a joke) that year!

I went 2 camp this year and 3 years straight before that. I met my BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDEST WORLD at camp 3 years ago. We swam, did archery, challenge course(total hard-core man!) Bible study, campouts(thank goodness it was on Tuesday!)and my favorite: SONGTIME!!!(trust me, if you go 2 CLS, song time ROX UR SOX!)Bugs were awful last year though, and that ruined my experience. I got more than - and Im not kidding about the number. I've still got scars - 137 chigger, ant, and mosquito bites!!! But CLS is still the best camp I've gone 2 in my life!!!

The down side, though, was whenever we went out at night, somebody would trash our cabin. So we were cleaning up our room at 10:30 at night! Last year I went to summer camp, it was AWFUL!!! My BFF and I were the only 1's that were 12 years old and the counselors treated us like babies!! So My BFF and I just had to do something to make things fun... We asked if we could have slippery slides, water games, and water fights, and we did. Besides that one day of fun, My BFF and I decided that next year (this year) that we wouldnt go, and this year we did even more fun things, we went bowling (which was fun 'cause we arrived early and no 1 was there), to a carnival, shopping @ the mall, and we went to LaRonde (an amusement park) and went on the new roller coaster The Goliath (which was the scariest ride in that whole amusement park) and some other rides. So I definitely love this summer and hated last summer! LOL.

Camp is sooo fun! I just got back from camp today and I loved it. My cabin was great and my counselors were sooo sweet to me. Then there were these three guy counselors who were hot. And I mean HOT. They were named Nick, Casey, and Dustin (Dustin was called Tex, because he's from Texas). I loved Tex so much, bcuz he's sooo nice and HOT. My tentmates loved to tease me about him (in a fun way) because I was so obsessed w/ him. We gave him a codename (Tiki) and Casey a codename (Briefcase). Casey had a codename because my friend Destiny liked him. After our closing ceremony at the end of the week, we all went outside and sag songs. When the songs were all done, we went around and gave everyone some goodbye hugs. Not only did Tex hug me, but my friend Leah got a picture of him and me together. Also, I met a friend named Albert and he is from Tokyo, Japan. He was my best guy friend that whole week. My best girl friend was named Chelsea, and she is from West Virginia and I picked up her accent for part of the time. To Albert and Chelsea: thank you for absolutely rocking. You made my week much more enjoyable. To Tex: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!".

Camp was so fun! Kyla, we did a game like that but not with chili. Instead we had to tie our hands behind our backs, and use our faces to search through a bowl of melted chocolate to find 1 mini marshmallow. It was one bathtub size bowl and 6 people at a time did it. It took 10 min. Before my BFF found it! SO FUN! Then people came by and pushed us in! I just got back from camp yesterday and I had a blast! We did a barn dance, went in a mud pit where you become so covered in mud that from far away people wouldn't know what you were, had an awesome talent show, watched High School Musical, did karaoke, had amazing food and stayed up late each night. I was gone for 6 days and 5 nights. I knew a few kids there, but there was only one girl in my cabin I knew. It was a little over an hour away but it wasn't a Girl Scout camp. The food there was so good! We had hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, pizza, spaghetti, desserts...I could go on all day! I mean it, I HAD A BLAST!

I went to a camp but it wasnt summer camp. It was Camp Cooper. It was fun. My summer camp experience was great!!! I went to a Christian camp, but it's not like all we did was pray. We had shaving cream fights, skit nights, and a whole lot of fun. The first night is hard because you miss your parents, but in the end you might even think about moving in to the camp!!!

Yes, I went to summer camp. It was really fun. The food wasn't really great but the counselors were awesome. We went rock-climbing, abseiling, zip lining and loads more! We played games that were really fun. One of the only bad things about camp besides the food was that I got homesick. And it was soooo embarrassing because everyone was staring at me. But I'd been on a trip away from home before so I wasn't really surprised. Overall, camp rocked.

"Yea, it was soo boring. And it stunk, really it was awful. I went with my best friend, and we found a dead dog, it smelled like...Then the administrators made us played baseball, or 'build' houses on trees. Then the administrators (one was a woman, and the other a man), the woman, made the girls do a choreography, and then we had to dance in front of all the parents and the boys. But when I did go it was with my friend Courtney at her church camp (well not their, but they rented it and it's name is CAMP JERRY). "I went to art camp. It's pretty close to where I live. Anyway, the camp didn't really have a name. There was this REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY cute guy in my watercolor group named Jesse. He sat next to me at the table, and he was always complementing me on my work! On the last day, the camp threw the older kids a big 'leaving camp' dance. The camp kinda liked to do things backwards, so they made the girls ask the guys! One day before the dance, during watercolor group, I managed to scrape up some courage from the corner of my mind, and ask Jesse to the dance. He tried really hard not to smile, and asked the teacher if he could go to the bathroom. When he stepped out of the cabin, I tried to follow him with my eyes. I plainly saw him skulk behind a tree, and have a little silent celebration. When he came back, he took up a pen, and wrote 'Yes' on his palm. During the dance, all of the artists at camp that I question why they even got into the camp were screwing up their faces not to look jealous. They had dates, but they all seemed to want mine!!!!! It was twenty minutes into the dance, and Jesse asked me to step outside for a minute. (He claimed he was 'sick of dancing'). He took me to a side of the hall with no windows, and gave me looooooooooooooooooooong kiss! I was shaking all over! I barely got to say 'wow' before he kissed me again! We spent half an hour just making out outside the dance hall! We figured that the chaperones would get suspicious, so we went back inside. Before we got on our separate buses to go home, he pulled me to the same spot as last night, and asked me to be his girlfriend. I took up his hand and said, 'Ye!' Now, we are BF and GF! He lives near me! And we go on a lot of dates! He has curly honey-blonde hair, and tannish-fair skin. I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV YOU JESSE! XOXOXOXOXOXO!"

My first one was when I was 8. I went to a Girl Scout camp in Pennsylvania called Camp Indian Run with my friend Isobel. Then when I was 9, I went to a YMCA girls camp in New Jersey called Camp Matollionequay with my friends Beth and Katherine. Then I moved from Philadelphia to Wisconsin, and at ages 10 and 11, I went to another Girl Scout camp called Camp Black Hawk. But I thought there were too many rules and everyone was too uptight, so I switched camps. In the summer of 2005, I went to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, a.k.a. the funnest camp ever. This year I am going again and my friend Lily is going too. I hope we get in the same cabin this year! Also, another thing I will do that's sort of like camp, but not exactly, is a mission trip. I am going with MSYC (Middle School Youth Connection) at my church to Rockford, Illinois to do community service. We will get to go to Magic Waters (a water park) and Six Flags Great America. My summer camp experiences were, are, and will be FUN!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, I feel so bad for you, Kyla. Come to Phantom Lake, and you will feel better!"

My summer camp experience stunk. And I mean stunk. The food was awful. The campers were so mean an bullying. The pushed me in the lake, they put worms and dead bugs in my bed, they called me Diapers all the time, told my counselor I wet the bed, made me eat dirt, and then yelled, LOOK EVERYBODY, KYLA'S A PIG!! They pulled my hair, flew my underwear up the flagpole, and made me play a horrible game of Truth or Dare. My administrators WOULD NOT let me call home, and the older campers hazed us. Actually, that was why everyone hated me. We younger campers were all supposed to wear a pair of underwear on our heads all day, and then eat chili with our hands behind our back. I refused, and kept saying, I prefer not to. They were NOT happy. Neither was I. My camp director was so mad at me. She said I showed no signs of wanting to fit in.

Well, first of all, I am the one who had written about the Girl Scout camping trips. Those were FUN! Those are the only camps that I ever went to! And if you combined the days and nights I was there, you only get 4 days and 2 nights! No fair that my sister got to go! I also went to a summer camp called Camp Sunrise. It was so fun! It's kinda religious, but they had a super fun lake, and a volleyball court, and this awesome cabin that had a great view of the fishing waters! That is my favorite cabin!

Summer camp rocks!! I went this year, & it was sooo cool! I met this really cute boy (and I've never really been into boyz). But anyway, me and Jon (that was the boy's name) were on a walk in the woods at the camp, and we got 2 talking. And after a while we came up 2 this creek. We stopped 2 sit on a rock 2 watch the creek and talk some more. And we got 2 really know each other. Later on in the week there was this dance, but neither me nor Jon liked 2 dance, so we went outside and got 2 talking (again!). We were holding hands, thn he gave me a nice, long kiss!!! We were out awhile, then it got kinda cold, so we went inside. The next day we went back to the creek 2 hangout awhile. We got in2 a splash fight, and we tumbled in the water on top of each other. We were laughing so hard! And he kissed me right there (again!!!). U know what's really cool, is that all the kids were from the same town (u see, it was a YMCA association that took us all out 2 the camp). Now me and Jon are dating!!!!! He is soooooo nice, and he's kinda a gentleman (you know, the type that were taught 2 be nice 2 girls and all that!). Luv u Jon!!!

I went to summer camp and it was so fun. I made friends with two sets of twins and I met Rachel from kindergarten and made friends with her brother Callum. And another girl also called Sarah has come to my middle school.

My girl scout troop also went 2 a camp called camp Sloan. We didn't stay that long (2 days and 1 night!) but we did have a lot of fun! We built birdhouses, went on a late night hike, and even made our own maple syrup! Plus, at night, all the girls would go into one room and tell spooky stories. It was a lot of fun!

Well I went to church camp. Everyone 4-6 grade only stayed 4 days and 3 nights. I thought it was ok because when I came home I got sick (sort of like a cold). I know why. We had this stupid little shaving cream war thingy. I was so mad. This boy named Eric put shaving cream all over my face. And one time at camp I told my friend I lost one of my bras in her bunk (cause I changed up there), and after shower she threw it down to my bunk. She goes Rosanna I found something, then she throws it down. Im like Kaylyn what, why did you do that? And ya, horrible, I know. Blah.

Oh my! Barring the first year I ever went to a camp, they have been some of the worst and best experiences of my life! The first year was wonderful and I made a new friend, the second I went with my BFF, and we had a blast by ourselves. Everyone in our cabin ignored us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And last year was practically horrible because I was by myself the entire time!!! :(.

I went to acting camp this year. We did Peter Pan and I was Wendy! My boyfriend (he wasn't my boyfriend when we did this) was Peter! In the middle of the play, one of the oldest kids accidentally knocked over a set piece. The pieces acted like dominoes and so everything came crashing down! Everybody was quiet and frozen. I closed the curtains and put all of the kids under six including Tinkerbelle. I whispered in Tink's ear and she started singing You are my Sunshine. We put the set pieces back up and opened the curtains. The rest of the play was perfect!

Ok here it is: the first time I went to camp I was 12. Yes this was my first and only year (at least till next year)! I was at camp and a guy asked if I wanted to go on a date and I already had a boyfriend so I said NO, GO AWAY. But he was making his cousin and friends sing and he asked me out over this other girl who said he was a loser. But she was mad that he asked me out over her, so once I said no again he said Fine, then asked the other girl if she would go out with him. She said yes! P.S. have fun at camp! Byez.

"I went to camp Seula (See-oh-la). It is a camp in South Africa. I was so much fun. First I was very nervous, like I was not going to make friends there. When I got there I went to check the list to see how many girls were there. Then I saw my best friend Chelsea was coming, I was so happy! Then I went to my cabin. "I went to camp this year. One night we had a social a.k.a. a dance. And me and my best guy friend went outside to get a breath of fresh air. We were sitting on a bench talking and he just kissed me! A counselor came out and saw us kissing. She didn't think too much about it. She waited a minute after we broke apart to call us back inside. After a little while a slow song came on. Brad (that's his name) asked me to dance!!! We started dancing. After a bit he kissed me again! My best girl friend saw me and whispered lucky! I smiled and we kept on dancing. After the social was over he walked me back to the cabin. He gave me a peck on the cheek and ran off to his cabin. I went in and I guess my best girl friend told EVERY girl in our cabin about Brad and me kissing at the dance. All the girls started squealing and dive-bombing me with questions. I told them we first kissed when we went outside for a breath of fresh air. They started squealing again. When the counselor that saw us kissing came in we were still talking. She came in and asked me how it went. I had no idea she knew. I told her and she smiled. It was the best camp experience I've ever had!!! :):):):):):):):) Miss ya Brad!!

She's 11 and Im 13, but it doesn't make much difference, because we are now INSEPARABLE. We text and email each other EVERY day, it's so fun.
