"I've only known this friend for a year, a year minus 3 days to be exact. We started talking on my birthday when he said Happy Birthday to me online and that talk went. Throughout this year, we've done everything together and gone through a lot. But the best thing that ever happened between our friendships was when we were in a big fight, one that had lasted almost a month. I tried to ask him if he was still mad at something over MSN and he just didn't say much and seemed like he didn't care about the friendship anymore. After that short conversation I felt like crud. To my surprise though I received an e-mail the next day, with his apology for being rude the previous night and when I read that whole e-mail, tears came to my eyes. She thought I didn't bring it! But then, Jared (who sits next to Lucy, and noticed that the slip of paper was dangling out of her desk) blew at the inside of her desk. The permission slip tumbled out of her desk, and she tried to grab it, but our teacher got there first! She read the signature, and got SO mad, she banned Lucy from the field trip! When Jared told me about what happened, I threw my arms around him! I just LOVE Harry Potter, and I could not bear at all to miss this field trip! We sat next to each other in the movie theater, and during the previews, I high-fived him for a job well done on getting Lucy to stay off of the field trip! JARED ROX MY SOX!"
