In the end, it was a really awesome drive, and my family and I had a great time playing games and telling stories. But, we went back to our home town to visit people, and on the way back we had just got off the plane, and we were going to have to take another one, but the flight was delayed. So we waited about five hours at the airport, then they announced the flight was canceled. Oh, it was terrible. We tried to get a cab for about an hour, but it was hard because it was raining out. So we finally got this limo/cab and we rode to the fairy (like the big boats. Sorry, I don't know how to spell it) terminal. We waited about an hour for the fairy to come, then we got on the fairy for about two hours. Then we had to take a taxi back to our house. It was about three-three thirty AM by the time we got home. It was the longest trip I had ever taken."

"My worst vacation? That's hard, I got millions. Well my worst...About a year ago, my little 6 year old (at the time that age) sisters (Who are twins) Made a plan to annoy me and my boyfriend. They told him my deepest secrets (Well, the ones that they were there for! ). Then when we got to the hotel we are staying at I find a group of girls who were flirting with him. He just ignored them though (phew! ) and paid attention to me. My 11 (at the time) year old brother actually got annoyed. One day on our vacation my sister called up her friend and asked her if they wanted to speak to Jason while he went to the bathroom. Jason took the phone, and just started telling her friend about what she was doing to me, her friend thought that was mean and called her a poopy head when she got back from the washroom. Michael ( my bf) didn't mind at all. On the trip back me and Michael just sat in the RV on the 2-person sofa and talked about how much fun we had traveling together. Of course then one of my little sisters, Lizzie, came over and sat on the sofa in the middle of us. Our mom told Lizzie to come to the front of the RV, and me and Michael just stayed in the back of the RV, sitting on a little sofa, enjoying the 14 hours left of out vacation that was in the RV, and uploading digital pictures of us onto my laptop. Well, it wasn't my worst vacation, but the rest of the car ride was somewhat interesting. We went to this restaurant, but my parents let me and Michael have our own table."

My stomach was hurting and I felt like I was going to throw up. I told my mom and she said to eat or drink something to make it feel better. I didn't have time to eat something so I just filled up a water bottle with milk. When we left my stomach was hurting even more so I just drank some of my milk to see if it made it better. It did so I drank the whole thing at once. A couple minutes later when I was done drinking I started feeling worse. But this time I puked. I must have barfed about 25 times in an hour. The whole ride we had to stop so I could throw up outside. When we stopped to eat I tried to eat something but I kept on throwing up. I took medicine but nothing worked. When we got to Big Bear I was still sick. I didn't get to do anything during our vacation. I would throw up every 2 minutes. At Big Bear I threw up on this girl I liked too. Well the biggest problem was who gets what room. I want the room I always get, and so does everyone else except my little sister (my parents aren't involved in this). We settle it because we tell our little sis that we are older and we decide first. So, we do it by birth order. My oldest sister gets the attic, my second oldest sister gets the downstairs room, I get the bigger second floor room and my little sister gets the other second floor room (not counting the master bedroom).

My best vacation was when we went to CoCo Beach, Florida. It was so awesome! We stayed at a holiday inn and the beach was right behind the hotel! LOL! There was even a outdoor pool! One for kids and one for adults too! The kids pool had a pirate ship theme! Even there was a hot tub! I just did not go in there at all, because it was like _ crowded! I tried to swim in the adult pool, but I couldnt! And another best vacation was when we went to Sea World for when I probably turned six. And it was the other best trip ever to Florida. Once my family and I went to Washington D.C. and we got lost when trying to find the right address to this place. Its not exactly a vacation but at the end I saw this really famous chef and we got to eat at this really fancy restaurant. So we were walking on the bridge when all this snow started falling on me from some sort of animal in the tree, and I started laughing non-stop. Ugh...I hate this memory. So we were going on a day trip to Old Sturbridge Village, which is two hours away. It was my mom, grandma, little sister (6 1/2 at the time), and me. The ride up was fine, and we had an awesome time at Sturbridge. It was this colonial village with lots of activities for us kids. But like 45 minutes into the ride back my sister exploded with puke! It even got on a CD of mine. We got off the highway and pulled into a gas station where mom and grandma cleaned my sister and the car while I freaked out. We got back on the highway, and since my sister puked all over her clothes she sat in just underwear. Anyway, there was BAD traffic and we didn't get home till like 7:00! We left in mid-afternoon, so that was a looong time. And it turns out my sister wasnt carsick, she had a virus! That was NOT fun!

And that the following day I got a phone call and a lady turned in the 450.00 too the front desk, and well I got the money back, and well was grounded for lying to my parents, and so that was the worse vacation. My dad is hyper when he's gotten a lot of rest but one time he needed the rest after being hyper when we went on vacation. OK, so we were going to Disney World, FL, and we were sooo excited!! We live in Utah, and our Grandparents were coming-Equaling 8 people. My Grandma works for the airlines, and we won something that paid for EVERYTHING at Disney World! Sounds perfect, right??? WRONG!!! We were going standby. We were going to go to TX and go to FL from there, but since hurricane Rita was there we had to go to NJ. The ONE plane where there was room was leaving @ 10: 55 @ night! Only my brother, my dad and my grandpa got on, although we came the next day. It was like that the whole time until we got to Disney World!! But we were there on my b-day, so in the end it all worked out. Now that I look back, I laugh!

Once my parents and me were in New York (I have no sibs). We were on foot and we got lost and passed the same church 3x. On the 3rd pass a policeman came out. I keep seeing you pass by" he said, then he offered to take us to our campsite. That was the ONLY time that we got into a stranger's car. The best part was that we got back to our motor home without any mishap. On a more recent vacation we were tent camping and I puked in the tent (yuck! ) the outhouse (which had no toilet paper by the way) was FAR, FAR away and it was 10 degrees below zero and...Oh I was miserable. That camping trip was cut short.

My cousin and I were on vacation and her only clean skirt was too big so she wore it anyway and had to keep yanking it up. So we were walking around this mall in England and we saw a really cute guy by this guy-clothes store and we started following him and got lost. So then we were trying to talk to him AND find our parents. Finally he said, " Hi. Are you guys tourists? Im 11. Our faces turned RED. Finally my cousin said, Yeah. Im 11 too. So we were talking to him when I heard, Krista, Mandy!! Get over here!!!!!!!! We ran to my parents with the cute guy staring at us and our faces were red. While we were running, my cousin's skirt fell down to the floor. It was so big that she didn't realize it fell so she kept running. I didn't know either. Then I realized everyone was laughing and staring at us. I looked at the cute boy. He was holding up Krista's skirt. Then she looked down at her Powerpuff Girl undies. The boy was staring at them too. She ran over to get her skirt half-naked, and put it on. He smiled and laughed (like everyone else). It was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!

We were driving to Disney Land last summer and my 9-year-old brother Hayden" had the stomach flu and every hour we had to pull over because he had to throw up. On our way there he threw up on me and ended up getting the stomach flu as well.

Once, when I was younger, we went to the beach. My mom gave my brother and I gum. Some how when I was chewing my gum it fell out of my mouth. It squished al over the back of my pants. I didn't realize that till I tried to get up. I had to take my pants off and pick the gum off. That day I learned that gum is really hard to get out of clothes!

OK, so we went to England one time. I always wanted to go to London, since thats my name. We were on the plane, and my sister, Tara, shes 8 BTW, gets stomachaches all the time when were on planes. When we got to London, my sister apologized, and then a guy came up to us and said, 'You got a little something on your cheek' to my sister, and she had some puke right there. I turned bright red, redder than fire, and I totally loved my vacation after that though!!!

I slurped up the Dr. P and Started listening to my dad's iPod. 3 hours later, we finally got to Cooper. Well, that was a fun trip I said when we hopped out of the car. We had to go to Rhode Island for vacation, and the drive was horrible. I was bored and moaning because we had to take the Volvo, which always makes me carsick. The drive was SIX hours long. One of the biggest problems that we have had on a family vacation was the time that my family went to my grandma's house in Washington for Christmas vaca and I was like 9 and my little sis was like 5 and my big sis was 21 and my older bro was 20 and my little sis tripped down my grandma's stairs and cut her arm and we had to get in the car and get her to the hospital. She was crying and screaming when we were on our way to the hospital. She had to get 6 stitches. I was really concerned and scared for her. But she is all better now.

Last year, my family was taking a short road trip to Chicago to visit my grandparents. While at my grandparents' house, my mom went into labor with my fifth sibling. So my mom and dad went to the hospital, while I and my four sisters stayed at my grandparents' house, which was kinda boring. My mom was in the hospital for three days, which means that we only had two other days to go sightseeing in Chicago. But my mom had to stay with the newborn baby, so my dad ended up taking my sisters and I to the Museum of Science and Industry on one day and to the Shedd Aquarium on the other day. It was a very interesting vacation!

I had to wear my sisters jacket around my waist and take off my pants in the car. HOW EMBARRISING!

We drive to New Jersey every summer. It usually takes about 5 loooong hours, but this year was worse. We tried going a new way, and it worked really well until we got to a traffic light. But it wasn't just a little backup, it was about 20 miles! So we sat in the car for over an hour because of it. And we couldn't turn on the air conditioning because if we did without moving the car for along time, the car would mess up, or something. So we sat in the car for an hour boiling and bored and then one of my little sisters started crying, which made my dad get mad, which made me and my other sister go nuts...It was awful. But once we got past the traffic light everything was great.

She put popcorn in my hair at the movies, she woke me up in the middle of the night and put on my green and blue bathing suit instead of green and pink. I got mad and she stopped and apologized. This happened when I was 14, Gina was 3, Briana was 10 and Katrina was 11. She was a pain in the neck. The other girls (Briana and Katrina) were peaches and cream (very nice. ) The rest of the stay was good.

My parents don't like to fly, so we always end up driving everywhere. I sometimes get carsick (though not NEARLY as much as when I was little), and even though I like riding in cars (it gives me time to just think), being stuck in one for ten hours is not really my idea of a good time. Although we always rent a minivan to go, and I love minivans. Plus, when we drive somewhere, it's usually too far to do in one day, so we take a break for a night. Translation: HOTEL!!! I LOVE hotels. My parents always make reservations at a really nice one. My dad and I swim, and then we eat somewhere. I like THAT part...

I didn't have many problems on my past family vacations. The only thing that bothers me sometimes is that we can't go to all the places that I personally wanted to go, but that in itself is not much of a problem either. In just 13 days my family is going to the Philippines to visit our relatives. I can't wait!

The biggest problem we had is when the car broke down and we were stuck and we started 2 get all fidgety. It finally got working and we got 2 the airport after 10 kids having the passport checked including my sis muddling me n my twin up we went 2 eat we ordered the food and I took it ova 2 the table! we all started 2 eat when my sis realized she had no money only credit cards. They didnt take them!! we had 2 send them the money!!

The biggest problem I ever had on vacation was probably running away. Im not kidding. I ran away from home during my morning run because I was sick of my sister being a witch 2 me. (shes getting better now)I was sweaty and hungry(you cant eat before you run) and totally lost. I tried finding my way back but got even MORE lost! I finally waved somebody over(I KNOW! IT WAS STUPID)and I asked for a ride. She asked where to and I didnt know but just drive to a marina. (I was thinking about going further away)We had gone probably a mile and we saw my dads car. I got out, thanked the lady, and got into my dads car. I was humiliated in front of my family and family friends. I have never done anything of the sort since, and I discourage everyone else to do the same. (especially DO NOT GET INTO A STRANGERS CAR!!!).

Jenny (11), that must have stunk. Was she your age? My cousins Tyler (17) and Joy (10) came to stay one weekend while my aunt was out of town. Tyler was SOOOO sweet and would play LIFE with my sisters like nine times in three days, but all Joy would do was complain. They were supposed to sleep on the couch, but Lindsey fell asleep on the armchair and since Joy complained about the couch, I gave her my bed and slept in April and Lindseys bed with April. She complained ALL night about how hard the mattress was and how my posters were giving her a headache. How does a poster of Walk the Line give someone a headache. Then she tagged along when I went to see Poseidon with Lexi, and kept complaining how stupid the whole thing was. THEN she wanted to borrow my ONLY AE shirt when we went to Earls for dinner (which she wanted to send her food back when we got there even though there was nothing wrong with it). I said no 'cause I was wearing it (I actually don't lend it to anyone) and she through this fit, expecting me to give in and let me wear it. I do NOT give in to pressure, so she yelled WELL I'LL RUIN IT WHEN YOURE ASLEEP TONIGHT". My mom took my shirt into her room that night so she didn't get it, and she CRIED. Ughhhhhh...

My biggest problem with going on family trips is my little sibs. They get cranky from sitting so long and they start screaming at me and getting mad!! and Im like what did I do?? and then I get in a bad mood usually or I just ignore them. Well now that my little sis is a little bit older now she is better in the car, and sometimes we have fun until my little bro gets in his moods. LOL. But its all good. And I agree with ( Marisa 11 ) that is another thing that bugs me because when we stay overnight at a hotel me and my little sis have to share a bed!! And it stinks because my little sis hogs the whole bed!

When I go to my home country of England we visit a lot of family. But most of them dont have a double bed for guests so I have to share with my 9-year-old sister! Naturally she goes to bed before me so when I go in there are two situation if I want to read I get into bed and switch on the light and he screams and kicks and punches and bites and...Well you know the drill. Or I get into bed and she is lying across it so I try to push her away. Again she screams & kicks & puncher etc. And she wont let me in. In the end I had to sleep on the sofa!

Two years ago, I took my friend to the beach. Her mom gave her a couple hundred dollars to spend for the week. Well, she went over her spending limit and my parents had to pay for my friend for the rest of the trip. She always had to do what she wanted to do. My mom would always hint to her that she was our guest, and we should make decisions together. I didn't pay attention to her then, but now I notice how rude she was. I have another friend, and sometimes we take her to like the fair, or places like that. She always runs ahead, and, like the other girl, always wants to do what she wants to do. Now I know that I have to take charge, and tell my friend that we need to make choices together, and that she is the guest, and that she is not the head of our group.

We were all in Maine at a summerhouse, when we took out the jet ski. My sister was riding in it with us and we had to go slow because the people driving the jet ski think my sister is scared to go fast. But when my sister drives she goes REALLY fast!!! Yesterday, we just got back from an amusement park called Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom. It's in Ohio. On our way back to our house, I realized that I had left my blanket back at the hotel. (Don't ask why I sleep with one. ) We had to stop at the hotel in order to retrieve it from our hotel room. I'll be able to laugh at that one day. LOL!

Well, our family always has a great time in Vermont. We never fight or anything like that we always work together and get along. But once I got sick and I couldn't really walk and there was a fire and I had to run outside. And it was a blizzard and everyone was screaming and crying. We were in Aruba and we went to visit the Natural Bridge. I left my backpack in the rented car. We came back and someone had broken in our car and stole my backpack, which had brand new snorkeling equipment! Then our car wouldn't start, so we had to wait for the rental guys to come and give us a new one. Then we got lost, despite the island being tiny, and got bad sunburn and almost hit a dog on our way back to the hotel. Now I laugh back at that and am thankful we didn't have any credit cards in my backpack, just goggles and bug spray and those things.

My mom said I could invite one friend to the beach for a week, and none of my good friends could come so I ended up inviting the most baby-ish girl in the world. When we were out to one of the most fancy restaurants around and we got seated, they didn't give either my friend or I a kids menu because they were 10-and under, but she wanted one, so in the middle of the restaurant she started screaming loudly 'I WANT A KIDDIES' MENU!' again, and again, and again. Instead she agreed to the buffet like we were planning on all along, then when we walked over to the buffet she crawled under the table. Once she got a full plate of food, she ate two bites and said that she was full. After dinner, when we got home, she ate an entire box of Twinkies, in our room, which was forbidden by my dad, while watching baby movies! And, to add onto that, her mom said she wasn't allowed to have ANY sweets, or snacks (the entire box of Twinkies)! And that was just ONE night!

Heres the thing it was a family... well me and my mom/my sis part time vacation. Ok on Christmas Eve late, late at night my 18-year-old half sister came up to the cabin my mom and I were staying in and I met up with her Christmas morning. It was prob. the most emotional Christmas weekend of my life b/c my sis had just moved out b/c of a purposely put on fight from my sister with my mom so she would have a less guilty reason to move out (confusing huh?). So it was a tear jerking Christmas and guess what? I lived like we all do after bad times!!! We live on!!!

I was in Iran, and I ate these Iranian chips. Later on, I kept on vomiting at the doctor's office, the taxi (ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!), and sometimes at people's houses. Luckily, I went to my uncle's house who was a doctor, and he gave me medicine. It was yucky, but it helped. Im going again this summer and this time I'll refuse to eat those chips.
