I don't remember 9/11, but my mom told me the story. I was two. We were following our routine, eating dry cereal and watching Sesame Street while dad worked. My grandma was in the hospital, recovering from a surgery to help with her leukemia. She called my mom and said, "Can you believe what's going on?" My mom was clueless, since we were watching Elmo. She turned on the news. I was mad because she changed the channel. My mom told me to sit down and be quiet. I sat and ate breakfast. We watched the towers fall over and over again all day. Living in Iowa, we were out of harm. I remember this one thing: I was confused as to why a mean man would do that. Oh, and I remember this: My grandma was supposed to come home a few days later, but she got even more sick, and died a few weeks later.

my mom was pregnant with me. she was sitting on my greatgrandmothers couch watching the news when it happend.

I nearly died in the 9/11 attack also my mom and my gradma. I was only 3 months old. Luckily the airports closed down so we took a train

I was 3 turning 4 when September 11 happened. My mom said I was attached to the TV when they kept replaying the planes crashing into the buildings and stuff. Now that I am 14, I have developed a HUGE obsession with 9/11 and I am always researching it.

Bin Laden died :) I watched a video on Nick.com-Devastating. they had to close disney world and made everybody go up to their hotel room and turn in the news. my friend was there that day and she was umm, a kid. she's 21. I'm afraid to go on planes now. and I'm afraid to go in office buildings even though he's long dead and I always try to tell myself, dead people don't come back. they have never once come back. it's impossible.

I was only 1 year old when it happened, so I don't remember it. I heard about it just last year, and I practically cried when I saw the pictures and a video about it. I don't think there will be a time when we don't have to worry about any more attacks, that is to say, not 'till the end of the world.

You have a good point Ipsgal, and, in case you don't know, my username is a typo of MysteryGirl because I like mysteries, but you can call me Myst or Mysty.
--MystertyGirl
No one can explain why death happens MysteryGirl. It just does.On September 11th many people died and it was sad but think of the people who were saved because others risked their own lives to save them.
--lpsgal
I was 7 1/2 when this happened, but didn't understand it. Now I do. Why did innocent people have 2 die during that year?

The worst part for me was that i was there August 28th..2 weeks before.. It was such a nice place..the towers were soooooo tall! I remember standing on the observation deck and thinking im gonna work here someday...2 weeks later they were reduced to dust :(
--DylanBieber
The wonders of Seth McFarlane (dude behind Family Guy and heaven music) had missed that plane by ONE MINUTE. Thank gawsh, that dude and CLARK GABLE ARE THE HOTTEST HOTTIES EVER. <333333 xD In reality, though, I was liek two.

Some people are pretty lucky, they got stuck in traffic and couldn't make it to work. i was like, 3 turning 4. i think. .-. I can't really remember what year it was. I think i was 4. or close to it atleast.

yea always just be awear and think sbout good things!

I feel really bad for all the innocent lives that were lost...And I also feel for not only the people on our soil, but the people on the other side,in a war-torn country with little freedoms and many Muslims get teased and made fun of.They call them terrorists, though they took no part in saddening our country so deeply.Im not saying tht I agree with the Muslims beliefs, but I'm saying we shouldn't make fun if them for something they didn't take any part in.This whole thing was dramatic to both sides--Mostly ours, but also to the innocents on their side.
