Here's what other kids had to say:

Freedom just happens to be a big part of my life now. I'm a 12 year old,and as you age you gain freedom. I have 6 years to go until I gain full freedom, or at least American freedom. There is no such thing as full freedom because if anyone could go around and do want they want, then there would be no laws. I wish I lived in a world where children are free. A place where they get to wear what they want,a place where there is no such thing as chores,a places where parents are simpily not the first ones in charge. I wish that parents could be there when you really need them and simply let you decide everything else. I wish the world could be like that for children.

Natashaton-----Uh,wait,we were having a war??? O.e I had no idea...Is it,uhhhhhh...Still on??? (-.O)
--ferretlover217

...truce. ferret, you may have outdone me, but this still doesn't mean that the tiny war between us is done! I WILL make a better story than you can make! And I'll make it with my...................... ~~~~~~~~~FREEDOM OF WORDY THINGYS~~~~~~~~~
--natashaton

ferret, it's on. just let me have two days and I'll post this puppy on here. Note: It is a puppy. Maybe just a puppy as the speaker, but it's gonna be a puppy. It will also take longer than 2 days for it to show up so don't bug me about it if it is not up by Monday.

7SleepersFan---Thanx.:). I can't believe how lucky we are,to be born in a country like this.Imagine, waking up one noting and you're in an adobe hut, with mosquitoes buzzing around your head. You hear about Jesus, but you're not allowed to worship Him,in case you'll be killed. The government won't help you or your family in any way.You eat tiny morsels for breakfast. You walk three miles just to get water. Yes,we live in a wonderful country, and sometimes we take that for granted...-.-
--ferretlover217

@FerretLover-- Your poem took the words right out of my mouth, it totally says it all! I've got many friends and family who are\were in the military. I'm so glad that I can say I'm FREE.
--7SleepersFan

To me freedom mean the right to say what on your mind when it on your mind and not have to be afraid to say it.
--lpsgal

Our country is not really free. Or at least the schools arent. Shipping 7 million pounds of pink slime to schools. I wish I could ship 7 billion punds of pink slime to the government and make them eat every bite. HAHAHAHA!
--walknow

Freedom is an overwhelming thing something We Americans have fought for many times WE ARE FREE be glad
--DCbound

BluDess--Awww Thanx!!! UR actually the only person who commented!!!^.* You make me feel so special...^-^
--ferretlover217

ferretlover217, that was actually my favorite poem! (I'm not lying. It's not sarcasm days like on Thursdays, or opposite day like Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mondays and Fridays are nothing! XD)
--BlueDessert

To me, freedom is synonymous with total anarchy. Freedom in the law's eyes is what IT will allow you to do. We were born free, then humanity enslaved itself. Why can't the human race die free?
--Nintendofan6

When you're happy that you're free. You're free, you have freedom. You must be happy. If you're not, then you're just like me. I don't want to be the great one, I like being the below one. For 3 months, I never put a real smile. Just 1 smile, no I never put one on. I used to be chatty, but now I'm nearly the quiet one in class; possibly 3rd or 4th person.
--BlueDessert

Ok maybe my below poem wasn't my best...(--.--')
--ferretlover217

When I found out that I thought my NLMBB isn't my friend anymore (At least I think .. She kept looking at me when I'm with our crush. She denies it. WEIRD.) I somehow whispered to myself, "I'm free." XD
--BlueDessert

I think freedom takes many forms. Freedom can be the right to openly speak your mind. Freedom can be the feeling you get when you escape the pain that comes with abuse and neglect. Freedom can be living the way god wanted you to live. Freedom can be the ability to decide how you will live your life. Freedom can be having the option to be creative and express yourself. I didn't make these up. These are all responses I've seen other kids write. Freedom is special and I will always be gratefull for it.
--Joestar56

Religious freedom.
--ajyos12

I think freedom means alot of things what you believe in or stand for who you vote for wht you tlk about who u tlk about all has to do wit freedom but jux remember freedom isnt free but im gona sacrifice myself cuz wen i graduate from high schhool------U.S. ARMY BOOTCAMP WOOHOO
--TJMAXX101

I think that freedom means that no matter where you live or how you dress you could do what you wanted if it was right. now according to dictionary.com freedom means:the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint: in example: we live in the USA which is the land of the FREE and the home of the brave. so that is what i think freedom means.
--smile464

what freedom really means to me is being able to live the life god made us want to live with good times and bad we can get through it every child should be able to stand up on the world and be heard for what is right. that is what freedom REALLY means to me.
