Teaching with History Scene Investigators
This interactive game enables your students to explore geography and history, and to use critical thinking skills to answer historical questions. You can play History Scene Investigators as a class or with teams using a projection device. Like Eye Spy, you might also schedule History Scene Investigators as a weekly activity, where you use the game to explore a new location with the class each week. Or you can simply let your students play the game on their own or in small groups. The game can be a springboard for a regular class activity in which students suggest new sites and clues for the game based on the history units they are studying in class.
