Teaching with Guess the Year
Your students can use the items in the time capsule and the Codebreaker clues to figure out what year the time capsule was buried. After playing the game, have your students design time capsules for the time period that you are studying. They may wish to place primary documents, literature, music, clothing, and other objects in their time capsule.
