Howdy, Kevin, Ana, and Dominique! These games sound like tons of fun! Anything with water balloons is great for summer, and spinning around is always good for a few laughs. What if we tried getting dizzy and then playing with water balloons? Not a bad idea! Know another game we should try? Tell us how to play by Zmailing us with "GAME" in the subject line.

I did this science project back in 8th grade: you take popcicle sticks, hot glue, a base board (we used a bulletin board), and a marble. You try to create a marble size roller coaster using all types of g forces. My group did a loop which out of the very few who attempted to make it, we were the only ones. You build the roller coaster using the popcicle sticks and you have to test and test before you try your final product. If you want to create a loop, take bigger popcicle sticks and soak them a little bit. Then you bend them and find something to hold them in place for a few hours. The trick to all this is how high you start your marble from. I believe our marble had to be in the roller coaster for at least 10 seconds and there was a certain length for it to be. Ours was pretty successful, try it out. I believe it will be fun for everyone! The only other materials that may be used are glue and tape. It's strong if you glue between the papers and then fold it into a rectangular box and put cylinders inside, or corrugation (paper fan shape). We are doing this in my class, and there are some that hold over 300 pounds!! Hello, Jessica, Mitch, Melissa, and Meghan! You know we love science so we're always excited about new experiments! A marble rollercoaster sounds totally loopy! And paper that holds 300 pounds? Preposterous! But if you ZOOMers say it can be done, then we'll give it a try. Send us your other successful experiments too -- just Zmail us with "SCIENCE" in the subject line.
