This was a beautifully writtem book. J. K. Rowling is such a good writer. It made me really sad that all of those people died though. Escpecially Snape.

I'm a romance nut, and I loved it, I just wish it was more romantic. Otherwise perfect.

  • Danielle, age 12 of Lancaster, OH
I love this book! Harry Potter is amazing because he feels like a normal kid, but he is such a powerful wizard.

  • Chrissy, age 11 of Denver, CO
AMAZING! It has everything... the "YAY! Harry just like totally won!" The "Oh, that's totally gross." The "What? How can he be dead?" And pretty much every other emotion you can think of. It is my favorite book of all time and J. K. Rowling is fantastic! (Thank goodness Hermione and Luna didn't die!)

  • Shelby, age 14 of Central Lake, MI
I love all the Harry Potter books, this one in particular, Mrs. Rowling really did a good job on it. Hermione is my favorite, because without her they all would have died.

  • Darby, age 9 of Goodlettsville, TN
I LOVED Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It's a great end of the series. I became so attached that I cried when someone died, and ran around screaming like a lunatic when Harry won against the odds. Pssttt... There's an eighth Harry Potter book coming about Harry's children's adventures at Hogwarts. Woot!!!

  • Nadia, age 12 of Toronto, ON
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is excellent. I really recommend it to everyone who has a good taste in books. I just don't know how people don't like the book- even the series. They just have to use their imagination, if they have any.

  • Bilal, age 8 of New York
I loved it I even went to the mid night release party and I went on the harry potter bus the party was a blast I read 2 chapters in my fathers car but I read until 2 o'clock at night I loved allthe books and party's but this party was a blast and I loved the book.

  • Angelie, age 10 of Torrance, CA
I love it! I read it for more than once!! I love the 19 years later part. It was suprising when Ron and Hermoine married each other! it was so cool!

  • Christine, age 16 of Lipa City
I LOVED IT!! I never knew that how it concluded would actually be possible especially the part where I found out who were in a relationship in the end... I cried when I read that one of the twins and the two adults died, at least now, Mrs. Weasley won't be confused between her two sons...

  • Cecilia, age 12 of Tempe, AZ
I loved it! I've read all of the books and this one was the best.

  • Kayla, age 12 of Wymouth, MA
UNBELIEVABLE GOOD! I love the way how through out the whole series she made Snape look like the bad guy, but he's really good! Harry's adolt friends dieing is a little sad.

  • Yvette, age 12 of Chula Vista, CA
i love DH! it is the best book in the history of the world! I was lucky enough to get it the day it came out! my fave book of all time!

  • Emily, age 13 of Lyons, KS
I really liked the whole series. J. K. Rowling had developed soooooo much as an author. I didn't like the epilogue and it is why I down graded it to 4 toes. The epilogue was really corny. It wasn't the best work J. K. Rowling had done.

  • Emily, age 11 of Mesa, AZ
I love the whole Harry Potter series! The movies are fine but the cut waaaayyy to much of the book out, but Daniel Radcliffe is a great actor ans he is so cute!:)

  • Mandi, age 11 of Norborne, MO

  • Connie, age 11 of Houston, TX
If I could give more than 5 toes I would! I just love the book because the plot is so complicated but all makes sense in the end. It also incorporates humor, description, and some romance and the characters' personalities are so deep that I can relate to them easily!

  • Leanna, age 5 of NY

  • Jessica, age 12 of Beverly Hills, CA

  • Lilah, age 11 of St. Louis, MO
Harry Potterand the Deathly Hallows is amazing, it is 100% the best Harry Potter book!!! J. K. Rowling is an amazing author. I LOVE the entire series but this one is the best!!! It's sad that lots people die but I like all the action. I give it 5 toes.

I really loved this book. The thing was the begining was good. The ending was good but the middle was sort of boring. Thou I still gave it five toes!

  • Sammy, age 12 of Saline, MI
This book was good. I liked how J. K. R wrapped up the series. I found the ending was really a give away. I'm not going to give it away, but you kinda knew it was gonna happen. I give it 4 toes.

  • Shileha, age 12 of St. Louis, MO
i love harry potter the book was the best ever hp rocks I cant wait till the movie comes out!!!

  • Kate, age 13 of West Liberty, KY
I LOVE this book. Jk Rowling is an awesome author, and so many bittersweet unpredictable things occur in this book. I almost cried when Snape was killed. There is quite an interesting turn of events when battle is waged at Hogwarts. I am kind of sad that the series is ended.. and wish there was more to read. I read this book in 3 days. I could hardly put it down.

  • Kolby-Lynne, age 12 of P.A., SK
I loved this book. It was by far the best of the Harry Potter series. You can tell you improved her abilities of writing. I sat on the edge of my seat after every chapter. It was awesome, Me and my friend even had a contest to see who could read it the fastest and we both read it within a week. We couldnt put it down!

  • Otis, age 12 of Boise, ID
I really liked this book but it just made me so sad that all those people had to die. They were all the best characters. I cried when Snape died.

  • Addy, age 12 of Boise, ID

  • Addy, age 12
Have you heard? They are going to make this one into two movies!!! YAY!!! If you don't belive me then look it up on the internet

  • Lucy, age 10 of Jefferson City, MO
I LOVE Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. That's because it's unpreditable. To me, books that are very predictable are boring; you always know what's going to happen next. Anyways, I never thought that Hermione was EVER going to place a stinging hex on Harry.

  • Anusha, age 10 of CT
i looooooooove it!!! I read the book 14 times! I can't wait until the movie comes out.

  • Becky, age 13 of Red Bud, IL
I love the Harry Potter series sooooo much. I started reading it whenever I was in first grade, not understanding most of it, but I have now read Deathly Hallows about 3 times.

  • Zoe, age 9 of Thousand Oaks, CA
OMG! I love this book! I love the epilouge (the last chapter) becausse it ended up just how I wanted it to be! It rocks!

  • Thalia
I found this to be the worst of the HP series. I loved all the other books; but Deathly Hallows was too predictable, some of the plot twists seemed far-fetched (even for HP), and my 7 favorite characters all died. Not a horrible book, but definitely not the best.

  • Megan, age 13 of Cincinnati, OH
I loved this book. I own all of the Harry Potter books, and have read them all at least three times. (I've read Deathly Hallows 5 times) I like fantasy and wizards and such. That's why I also like the Erec Rex series and the Percy Jacson and the Olympians series!

  • Hanna, age 12 of Phoenix, AZ
I Love it! The sad thing is that I was able to predict the twists and turns which are now so classic, but vy the end of the series, I should! It is devastating that the series has to end with so many deaths(its devastating that the series has to end at all), but I loved the romance. Harry and Ginny are old hat, but Ron and Hermione- new, exciting, predicted! I loved every second of it! It was so good that I literally couldn't put down, and I finished it the day it came out! Long live Harry Potter!

  • Cheyenne, age 14 of Kettering, OH
This was a great book because it never got boring and I never wanted to stop reading it!

  • Jessica, age 15 of Rome, GA
if you say HARRY POTTER stinks then all of you people have no imagination at all. everyone knows that witches and wizards dont exist so why the world even take them out of schools. just dont read them if you believe them. HARRY POTTER books are AWSOME. they take you into another world. JK ROWLING is an awsome author and hopefully she starts writing another series. I think she will be successful with that book too.

  • Michelle, age 8 of Calgary, AB
I love it because I like magic and legendary animals!

  • Michael, age 7 of El Paso, TX

This Is the BEST HP book ever!!! Hope the movie is exactly like it!

  • Lena, age 16 of New York, NY
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I think it is the best book in the series. I don't think someone under 9 years old (because of violance and deaths) but older kids will love it! Five toes!

  • Courtney, age 16 of Millington, TN
Loved it all the way through. The best book ever writen. Sad but has the best plot and everything you've been waitng for.

  • Stef, age 13 of Chicago, IL
LOVED IT! But some of the scenes were really sad and others moved WAY too fast... I was on page 92 before I realized that I had been reading it for so long!

  • Vanessa, age 11 of Vancouver, BC
it is absolutely the best book ever made by human hands. period.

  • Luna of Denver, CO
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the best book I have ever read in my entire life. And I have read a lot of books! I read over 1, 000 minutes a week. If you don't like the book, I don't know what's wrong with you!

  • Vanessa, age 13 of Alhambra, CA
Best Harry Potter book ever. The series are often thought as over rated, but that is your own opinion, not others. The action is great and is better than the others. The book is a great fantacy book and makes you feel the characters. As I always say, the author can make you feel anything. The relationship between our beloved three Gryfindors, from the nervous first years, to the confident and successful adults, you cant help but feel compassion and love for them. Their relationship can soften any cold heart. I give this book a 10.

  • Devin, age 7 of Madison, WI
I love Harry Potter! Whoever doesn't like Harry Potter or whoever hasn't read the books, is my opinon, missing out on a lot!

  • Hannah of Arvada, CO
I LOVE Harry Potter books and could not wait for the book. My family and I had to fight over the book to read it. I am so sad the sires is over, but can't wait for the movies.

  • Alexandra, age 12 of NC
I think that JK Rowling has inspired a new age of readers. In a world where television and the internet are taking over the minds of children, books like 'Harry Potter' are greatly needed. I would also like to say that if your review is biased by your genre selection, please do not bring down the spirits of Harry fans by striking out at the series.

  • Alyce, age 11 of San Antonio, TX
Not as good as the others. I was so excited-then read it.

  • Ally, age 12 of IL
I LOVED it. I think it was the best Harry Potter book written. I hope they don't make a movie out of it and completely ruin it like they did to all of the other books.

  • Breanna, age 12 of Newhartford, IA
I love this book!!! When I picked it up I couldn't set it down. I ended up grounded from it because I forgot to wash the dog because I was reading it.

  • Danette, age 12 of Rio Rancho, NM
I just wanted to say that harry potter is classified in fiction... so it doesnt have to be real... and its cool if you dont like fiction.. but theres a reason its not real... ciz its not supposed to be... [didnt rate... I dont like it and I dont hate it]

  • Dj, age 9 of Regina, SK
It's sad but also cool, it's one of my favorite books

  • Christiana, age 11 of Newtown, CT
harry potter is highly over rated. Everybody knows witches and wizards don't even exist. It's just so... unreal. I like realistic books better because they aren't just bad guy is wrecking everything, then the oh-so-mighty harry potter comes in to save the day. harry potter doesn't even deserve to have his name capitalized!

  • Devin, age 10 of Madison, WI
omg! I cant tell you how happy, (and sad) I was after that book!

  • Bradlee, age 10 of Andover, IL
I ABSOLUTLY LOVE Harry Potter1234567!!! it is always adventures and he always gets out of trouble.

  • Beth, age 13 of Nazareth, PA
I love, love, LOVED this book! I was wondering how Rowling would end the series, and if she would end it in a good way. Well, she did! I was sooo happy when Ron and Hermione FINALLY ended up together; I actually screamed "YES!" when I read that part. The only thing I didn't like was when Fred died (sniff, sob!). But, other than that one thing, I have nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about! You rock, J. K. Rowling!

  • Jennie, age 12 of Concord, NH
OMG, I LOVE THIS BOOK! There was so much action and sadness and happiness! I got it at midnight and stayed up till 2 am reading it and then read it the rest of the next day! NARCISSA MALFOY ROCKS!

I like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! It's full of adventure. There is always excitement. Personally, I didn't find many surprises in the story as many surprises I found in the first six books!

Love it because it, s full of excitment and action

  • Katherine, age 11
I LOVE this book!!! I don't think it could be any better. I cried so much at the sad parts. I'm so sad that the series is over. there the best books in the world. the Deathly Hallows is amazing. I wouldn't say that it's the best book in the series, because the rest of them are so wonderfully amazing too. one hundred toes!!!

  • Brittany, age 14 of Owensboro, KY
Its my FAVORITE Harry Potter book because of all the action.

  • Meagan, age 12 of Weare, NH
I LOVED this book! The end was sooo nice, and it was action packed, and definetly the best book in the series! I love the romance and how people you think won't have a very important part actually do, like Narcissa Malfoy, who happens to be my favorite character. This book was so good, I hid out in my room the day it came out and read it in eight hours! Definetly five toes!

  • Britta, age 12 of Columbia, MO
Oh my gosh! How could anyone hate that book! It was wonderful! From a one to a ten it's most definetly a ten!

  • Anna, age 11 of Westminster, MD
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Iam in the middle of the book right now. I would not recomend it to a kid under 7 years old (becauses of all the viloince and deaths) but older kids will love it!

  • Lauren, age 10 of Bangor, ME
I absolutely, positively LOVED the Deathly Hallows, even though I cried through the last half of the book. I went to a bookstore at midnight all dressed up and waited for 2 hours to get it then I read it that very day! Rowling brought an awesome series to a dynamic end! I ended up both satisfied and surprised at the ending.

  • Emilie, age 10 of Ottawa, ON
I loved the book. It was so so good (But sad too). I couldn't put it down.

  • Amanda, age 12 of Central Falls, RI
It was well worth the wait. I read the book in three days. It was soo good I even skipped lunch so I could finish it. Well rthere are alot of sad parts in the book and a little twist near the end. Some of the characters who died I personally think should have lived. In the end, this book was totally awsome.

  • Aurora, age 10 of Fremont, CA
I loved it! I wish I could discuss it with some one else besides my family, we all finished a week after we got it! (The night it came out!)

  • Alexa, age 9 of Redmond, OR
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the best Harry Potter book of them all! It's awesome!

  • Ayla, age 13 of NC
I'm a Harry Potter nerd, so apparently I loved the book. It was full of action, adventure, romance, and more. I don't really like who Harry ended up with; I had always been a Harry/Luna shipper. A shipper is who you support in romances by the way. Well, Deathly Hallows deserves an endless amount of toes!

  • Harry Potter Fan
I absolutely LOVED this book! It had so much action, plot, romance, darkness... let's face it, it had everything! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a story that kids and adults alike can read and enjoy! And even though it doesn't have a cliffhanger ending, or a conflict left unresolved, I'm glad that good finally prevailed over evil. I'm only sad that there'll never be another one.

  • Blair, age 14 of Allston, MA
This book was amazing! I thought it was the best of the Harry Potter books. It was quite dark throughout a lot of the book, but it was still great! 5 toes!!

  • Amy, age 11 of Miami, FL
I was sad when a certain person died, but I wont say who it was because I do not want to ruin the ending when some important people die!!!

  • Harry, age 10 of WA
I think its cool that I have the same name as Harry who is my hero. He is brave and in griffendor. He is loyal to his friends and a good man (now that he is of age). I wish that wizards are real, then i'd be one because I have the right qualities: 1. I'm brave 2. I learn 3. I might have magical powers but I don't know for sure b/c I'm not 11 yet.

  • George, age 12 of Paris, TX
I loved it. I couldn't stop reading it. I went to a harry potter book party and was up all night. I dressed up as harry potter with a wand and robes. I didn't sleep that night because I was reading.

  • ZOOM Fan
I read the book and the whole time I was reading I was thinking Harry "grew up" so fast. I am not going to say to much though.

  • Emily, age 14 of Kingston, ON
This being the final book in the Harry Potter series was absolutely amazing! Once again JK Rowling produced a thrilling, exciting, and quick-paced novel appealing to kids and adults of all ages! the books characters worked well with the plot and did not disappoint! I can gladly say that this book did not keep me longing for more as it supplied a terrific ending to a story that Ive been following since its debut 10 years ago with the philosophers stone! Wow this book will be appreciated by the millions of fans across the world, and I will personally reread it countless times! A true classic in the making!!

  • Adrellie, age 13 of LA, CA
This book is very exciting and it has a ton of action! when I picked up the book and started reading I couldn't put it down! I can't tell you anymore you'll have to read it for yourself.

  • Sara, age 12 of Wauwatosa, WI
Very very very very good, lots of action, but many deaths. Potter fans, check your theories. Some are right and some are wrong.
