Mama and the 'kids'

Mama Mirabelle’s Home Movies is an animated television series that looks at the natural world from a preschooler’s point of view. It introduces preschoolers to a fascinating world filled with loveable characters and stunning wildlife movies from National Geographic.

Mama Mirabelle is a world-traveling elephant explorer. She shares her adventures and live-action movies of the natural world with a cast of playful preschool animals from the African savanna. The series also introduces Mama’s ever awed elephant calf, Max and his friends; a know-it-all cheetah named Bo; a sweet and curious zebra named Karla; and three comical monkey brothers—Kip, Flip, and Chip. These preschool animals watch Mama’s “Home Movies” to learn more about their world and their place in it.

Mama Mirabelle’s Home Movies combines relevant preschool themes, positive role models and helps preschoolers learn about animal customs and behaviors. The series also features original African and world-inspired music, including songs performed by Vanessa Williams.
