Show 16: Wolfing Down Some Barbeque

Ruff was hosting the Ruffman family reunion, but his barbeque sauce was so bad that only his distant cousins the wolves showed up! Plus Chet forgot the meat for the cookout, so Ruff needed to figure out how to keep the wolves happy!

Ruff sent Rubye and Emmie to Yellowstone National Park to learn about wolves. After watching a pack of wolves and a bear fight over food, the FETCHers learned that wolves are very important to the Park's ecosystem. Since the wolf population has increased over the past 100 years, more trees have grown and the ecosystem has become more balanced. Thanks, wolves!

Jay and Marc headed to South Carolina to learn how to make barbeque sauce that's tastier than Ruff's. Marc's favorite kind was the ketchup sauce while Jay liked the mustard sauce the best. At the farmer's market, Marc and Jay barbequed fruits and vegetables and invited the public to taste test the sauces. Marc's tomato-based ketchup sauce won over the crowd!

Shreya and Marco stayed back in Studio G, where they scored 40 points during the Halftime Quiz Show (this time hosted by Felipe, Ruff's flea)!

Then everyone went back at Studio G for the Triumph Tally!

Rubye and Emmie scored:

• 80 points: for their super sleuthing skills that helped them track down wolves and find evidence of their impact on the ecosystem

Emmie also earned:

• 10 extra points for not falling in the beaver pond

Marc and Jay scored:

• 80 points: for the delicious, shirt-staining barbeque sauces

BUT: "Is that really all the points a dog can give?"

The day's 15 bonus points went to the winner of the great FETCH! Barbeque Sauce-off: Marc! With 95 points, he was the daily winner and his prizes were a stuffed wolf toy and a gift certificate to a barbeque restaurant.
