Show 15: Birds are Handy!

Ruff was asked to be a dancer in his rock star cousin Rüf Rüfman's next music video! All Ruff had to do was get American birds as back-up singers and get Rüf a manicure!

Ruff sent Emmie and Jay to Wyoming to find some songbirds. They helped researchers count the bird population and found birds' nests using GPS devices. Emmie and Jay counted how many eggs and babies were in the nests and added their counts to the research study. And of course, they recorded some birds singing for Rüf.

Marc and Shreya were sent out to learn about hand modeling and manicures. Both Shreya and Marc got the full treatment: they soaked their hands, pushed back their cuticles, moisturized, and got their nails painted. Way to be brave and get your nails done, Marc! When Ruff found out that his only his hands—and not his whole body—would be dancing in the music video, he sent Marc and Shreya to learn how to hand dance with little puppets on their hands.

Marco and Rubye stayed back at Studio G where they scored 30 points during the Halftime Quiz Show!

After all that singing and primping, everyone met back at Studio G for the Triumph Tally:

Emmie and Jay scored:

• 80 points: for gathering data that's part of an international 18-year study and finding two nests using a GPS device

Shreya and Marc scored:

• 80 points: for manicuring, finger dancing, and doing an overall good job!

BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"

The day's 5 bonus points went to Marc for leaving his comfort zone and going to the manicure zone! That made Marc the daily winner with 85 points. His prize: hand soap—shaped like hands—in a songbird soap dish. Too bad Ruff's hands got covered in butterscotch (mmm!) and he couldn't end up going to Sweden to hand dance in Rüf's music video.
