Show 7: A Whole Flock of Cheese

Ruff was hoping to find his still-long-lost parents by sending them a message. Meanwhile, Chet turned everything in Ruff's house into cheese.

So Ruff sent Emmie to live-out her life-long dream of making cheese! She even made her own mozzarella ball, which she put up against store-bought cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich taste test. Emmie's cheese won the contest (judged by her family), making Emmie the Cheese Champion!

To learn how to get a message to his parents, Ruff had Rubye and Jay race carrier pigeons all the way across town. They used their sense of smell to find their way—just like pigeons do!—but were too slow for the challenge. This set them back in the race but they pursued the competition—cooing and dancing in their pigeon attire. Too bad the pigeons beat them by a long shot!

Marc, Marco, and Shreya stayed behind in the studio where they scored 30 points in the Halftime Quiz Show!

Back at Studio G, everyone flew in for the Triumph Tally:

Emmie scored:

• 35 points: for working with a few billion bacteria to make mouth-watering mozzarella (which she did not bring back for Ruff)
• 50 points: for melting the competition in the grilled cheese taste test
• That's a total of 85 points!

Rubye and Jay scored:

• 30 points: for gamely completing a crash course in pigeonology (Ruff made up that word)
• An additional 45 points for a terrific pigeon dance
• That's a grand total of 75 points!

BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"

The 5 bonus points for this cheesy, bird-brained episode went to Rubye for answering that age-old question, "Who's faster: pigeons or kids in pigeon suits?" That gave Rubye a grand total of 80 points! Emmie was the daily winner and won a fondue pot with birdseed cheese and the book Cheese out with Chet!
