Show 3: You Can't Teach an Orange Dog New Tricks

Ruff agreed to watch Bluff Ruffman's pets, but he didn't know what kind of pets they were! They sounded big and crazy, so Ruff needed the FETCHers' help. Ruff had two choices: make the animals disappear or learn how to take care of any animal.

In Las Vegas, Rubye learned the art of magic from Penn & Teller. In magic, things can't actually disappear—they can only be made to look like they do. After learning some sweet magic tricks, Rubye entertained the public out on the Vegas streets!

Ruff sent Marco and Shreya to Disney's Animal Kingdom to learn how to care for large animals. After talking to specialists and playing a "match the feces with the species" game, Marco and Shreya determined that the mystery animal they were searching for was the siamang (a kind of ape). Then they gave a siamang a check-up.

Jay, Marc, and Emmie stayed back at Studio G where they got 40 points in the Halftime Quiz Show!

The FETCHers all met back at Studio G for the Triumph Tally:

Marco and Shreya scored:

  • 30 points: for guessing the mystery animal
  • 55 points for brushing the siamang's teeth and keeping her happy
  • That's a final score of 85 points!

The Amazing Rubye scored:

  • 85 points: for learning to do a spectacular magic trick and doing an amazing job as a street performer

BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"

Ruff awarded Rubye 5 bonus points for holding her own with two of the greatest magicians in the world! With 90 points, Rubye won her own magic kit! Luckily, Bluff sent all the animals back home to Africa, so there was no need for Ruff to keep them anymore!
