The wummox is a creature much like a slug, as it travels only on one foot. Wummoxe eat leaves and tree bark that they find in their natural habitat, the forest. Since forests thrive with water, so do the wummoxe. A wummox tends to live in a fallen tree because it would not be able to live in a live tree itself, thanks to its size. They usually find a freshly fallen tree, eat through it, and find shelter within. They also raise their babies in there.
