The Speen protects it's babies in a hole in a tree, it also get bugs from the tree and it also protects them from the harsh weather they have in the area. They get water from a pond below their tree. And since they live close to each other it is easy to find a mate. They like to glide from the tree to the lilly pads in the pond and they use there feet to paddle to shore. And there are no fish that could eat them on accident:). There are lots of berry bushes where they can hide and play around with other little Speens.
