The alpine phloxums live in huge groups called herds. They live like elk or deer other than the fact that they never leve there home (cousing the white bald spots where there is no grass). They protect there young (witch are red at birth) by putting in the middle of the herd and also the weak and old (they blacken by now) whale the adults (they defend them selfs by squashing the attcker) defend (they are brown).
