Expert Review

I chose these amazing habitats for the Glotchen because they each provide food, water and shelter for the animals and their babies. Here are examples from each one:

Finding food:

In the habitat Bluefadoodle drew, the Glotchen live in caves in cold areas where they can find and eat frozen bugs. LittleKitty5 has the Glotchen eating aphids and other insects off the blades of grass where they hang. The Glotchen in Surma's habitat live in forest caves because their prey, the Bee-Striped Moth, live in the Yellow Cloudfern trees there. Brina1's Glotchen eat the mosquitos that breed in the ponds near their nests.

Finding shelter and searching for a mate:

Hulahoop23 has the Glotchen find shelter from their predators, the Finkle, under leaves in the water. In Ookiedog's habitat, the Glotchen stay protected in nests made from poison ivy but can also fly into burrows if they are threatened.

Raising babies:

7Sandra's Glotchen raise their babies in holes in dirt cliffs. Bluemoon108 has the Glotchen raising babies in holes in tree trunks which they make with their strong teeth. In Calcal2345's habitat, the Glotchen raise their young on islands off the beach. The Glotchen eggs in Baritonie's habitat stay safe in a tree in a thick nest of Glotchen silk until they hatch.

Getting water:

In Camiflower's habitat, the Glotchen get water from marshy lakes. 0l0ve has the Glotchen drinking dew off the grass in the early morning.

Each of these habitats has everything these animals need to live. Thanks for your help!
