Expert Review

I chose these magnificent habitats for the pygmy baroot because they each provide food, water and shelter for the animals and their babies. Here's what's so wonderful about them:

Finding food:

In 17cpreston's habitat, the pygmy baroot gets its snack nectar from the flowers or the freshly cut green grass. The pygmy baroots in Khamoon's habitat eat fopu bugs, which are close cousins of fireflies, and flower nectar. In 0176342's habitat for the pygmy baroot, the animals have berries, fish, and worms to eat.

Finding shelter:

The pygmy baroots in ragooma's habitat drawing live in a cave and also have camouflage and poisonous skin so that humans do not disturb them. 23ew5's pygmy baroots make nests inside tall gray rock cliffs and place yellow bedding in the nests for their babies. In 1faithgirl's habitat, the pygmy baroots live in a beautiful mountain meadow, and the mountain protects them from wind, rain, and predators.

Raising babies:

A big den in the habitat drawn by bales7 is where the pygmy baroot gives birth to its babies. Horsenut2001's pygmy baroots live in and raise their babies inside of a flower that closes up to keep them safe. A burrow in pugwash67's habitat is where the pygmy baroots raise their babies.

Getting water:

There are lots of natural springs in the pygmy baroot habitat drawn by makc124, and so the animal always has water to drink. Stems in weird28's habitat have purple, blue, red, and yellow flowers to allow the pygmy baroots to drink nectar out of the plants. BlossomoYum provided a pond for the pygmy baroot to get water from.

Each of these habitats has everything these animals need to live. Fantastic job!
