Do you know how many bags your family uses in a week? Here's how to find out:
. You can print it out or copy the information onto a piece of scrap paper.
Write down how many new bags your family brings home each day on the weekly worksheet.
When you or any of your family members get home from going to the store, count the number of new bags you or they have.
If your groceries are double-bagged, count those as two bags.
Count small, large, paper and plastic bags.
Don't count paper or plastic bags that you or your family re-use.
