Great question,my family collects watr in a bucket when itrains — alexus1940, Age 10 When I wash my hands: - I turn off the water while soaping up. - I only use as much soap as I need. Did you know that it takes 5 bottles of water to cool down the plastic of one bottle?!?! — okie223, Age 8 i save water by turn of the faucet water while brushing my teeth, and i used warm water for a wash rag instead of cold or hot vwater — Riley, Age 11 Catch all the drops of water that is coming out of a broken faucet, turn the water off when I'm brushing my teeth. — TheRealmads0, Age 10 After sports I sometime half drank water bottles. The next time I have a sport I finish that bottle and then refill it. That way I only use 1 water bottle a week. After I am done I recycle the bottle. :) — Me, Age 11 When it is really hot out instead of using fans take an icecube and wrap a cold cloth around it. Then dot you arm, legs, faces, and necks to keep cool. By doing this you save the energy of turnning on a fan. — Me, Age 11 While waiting for the water warm up when taking a bath save the cold water and water your plants instead of having it go down the drain. :) — Me, Age 11 i turn of the water when i brush my teeth — puppypuppy92, Age 10 I try to save water every day even at school sometimes. I try to turn of water as quickly as I can not to wast it. I kind of feel bad wean I'm waiting for it to get hotter. — yoyoyou236, Age 11 Hey guys! Great question! I try to save water in many many ways. I turn off the water while I am brusing my teeth, turn off shower water while I am not in the shower, use a toilet that doesn't use as much water when you flush, use undrank or waisted water by me or other people to give to the plants or maybe my dog, turn off the faucet when nobody is using it, NOT pour any chemicals down the drain or into lakes, ponds, rivers, or oceans, and play on EekoWorld, EekoCreature, and EekoHouse to learn many more ways to save water! Thanks for reading another long letter that's dedicated to all, — mckenna12367, Age 9 |
