The House of Representatives Races
In 2008, just like every two years, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives are up for election.
Of these 435 seats, 32 Representatives are retiring from their offices.
In Indiana, 7th congressional district representative Julia Carson died in December 2007. In a March 2008 special election to replace her, Julia’s grandson Andre Carson ran and won. He’ll be defending his seat (and his grandmother’s) this November.
