Researchers have studied the impact of CYBERCHASE in studies with more than 1,500 girls and boys of various ages and geographic, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. After watching more than 20 different CYBERCHASE episodes, the children involved in the studies demonstrated that watching CYBERCHASE has positive effects on kids. Viewers have a more positive attitude, confidence and motivation about mathematics and problem solving, an understanding of the mathematics and specific problems presented in the shows, and problem-based learning they can demonstrate in hands-on activities.

CYBERCHASE has been carefully designed to support the math curriculum standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Each show focuses on a single math concept -- a "big idea." Mathematics experts choose concepts from areas that are tricky for kids. Experts in the fields of science and engineering also contribute ideas for topics.

Q: Which CYBERCHASE materials are available in Spanish?
