HOW TO ENTER:
Log on to the CYBERCHASE Web site (www.pbskidsgo.org/cyberchase) to enter. Kids will be challenged to solve an online CYBERCHASE mystery. Winners will be chosen by the Sponsor at random from the entries with the mystery answered correctly and the parental consent signed. The 2005 CYBERCHASE Online Contest (the "Contest") runs from September 26th - October 31st, 2005. Entries must be mailed to:

HOW TO WIN:
No purchase necessary. To enter, print out the Entry Form from the Cyberchase Web site and solve the mystery. To be eligible to win, the mystery must be solved and answered correctly. Contestant entries are also required to provide signed parental/guardian permissions on lines designated on the Entry Form. Entry Forms without parental/guardian signature will not be eligible. Return Entry Form by mail to: THE 2005 CYBERCHASE ONLINE CONTEST, P.O. Box 1313, JAF Station, New York, NY 10116. Forms must be postmarked by November 4th, 2005. From those entries with the correctly solved mystery and with signed parental permission, Sponsor will randomly select 1 Grand Prize winner, 10 First Prize winners and 350 Second Prize winners. Odds of winning are dependent upon total number of correct entries received. You must be under the age of 16 to enter. The first names and hometowns of Grand Prize and First Prize winners will be listed on the CYBERCHASE Web site (www.pbskidsgo.org/cyberchase) no later than December 15th, 2005. Grand, First and Second tier winner prizes will be mailed no later than December 15th, 2005.
PRIZES:
1 Grand Prize winner will receive...
- Two (2) INTELĘ CENTRINO- Mobile Technology-based laptop computers from Intel Corporation- one (1) for winner and one (1) for winner's school or community education group.
- A CYBERCHASE backpack, footbag, and school supplies from FLYING MINDS;
- An assortment of CYBERCHASE premiums, products and giveaways including a DVD, a CD-ROM game and a book. (Some products provided by Brighter Child Interactive, PBS Home Video and Paramount Home Entertainment and Scholastic Inc.)
- The retail value of the grand prize will range between $3,073 and $4,073
10 First Prize winners will receive...
- A CYBERCHASE backpack, footbag, and school supplies from FLYING MINDS;
- An assortment of CYBERCHASE premiums and giveaways.
- Each First Prize value is approximately $31.50 (for a total First Prize tier value of $315)
350 Second Prize winners will receive...
- An assortment of CYBERCHASE premiums and giveaways.
- Each Second Prize value is approximately $1.50 (for a total Second Prize tier value of $ 525).
Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize(s) of equal or greater value. The Entry Form must contain a parent's or legal guardian's signature in order for the prize package to be provided to each winner.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Any taxes on prizes won will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The Contest is sponsored by Educational Broadcasting Corporation, 450 West 33rd Street, New York, NY 10001 (the "Sponsor"). Entry Forms become solely the Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged or returned. Neither Sponsor nor PBS is responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries or mail. Neither Sponsor nor PBS is responsible for any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from Contest participation; the awarding, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in any prize-related activity; or from computer malfunction. Sponsor's decisions are final and non-appealable. Entrants agree that acceptance of any prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor of an unconditional right to use the Grand Prize and First Prize winner's first name and address (city and state only) on the Cyberchase Web site, and to provide Grand Prize winner's first and last name to child's selected school or community education group. However, the chance of winning is not affected by the withholding of permission to use such information. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest if it becomes technically corrupted.
ELIGIBILITY:
This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York with venue in New York, NY. The 2005 CYBERCHASE Online Contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, except where prohibited by law. Employees of Educational Broadcasting Corporation and PBS and their immediate family members are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Not valid in Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. Void where prohibited.
